Best Picks from Day 1 of the 2018 NFL Draft

Well once again another draft full of the unpredictability thus teams would capitalize on ones big mistake here are the greatest selections from the first night.
The Top Ten
1 Bradley Chubb

By far the greatest pick by far of this night, John Elway played it like a pro once Cleveland pulled a swerve pick outta no where... Elway goes for the safe route, and takes Chubb who looks like a big time beast that can compliment with Von Miller.

2 Derwin James

Wow did he take a big fall in the draft... some consider him the better safety over Fitzpatrick, and the fact Chargers were able to see him fall within the late 20's I consider that a big win for that defense getting better upgrades in that secondary.

Kudos to the Chargers, for picking up the best safety in the draft.

Derwin James is a beast should've been drafted higher

3 Tremaine Edmunds

A top 10 projected player fell all the way to the top later 20's to the Bills who had a pretty big miss in taking Josh Allen who had late red flags coming into this draft where he coulda been #1 if it wasn't for some immature twitter posts from a while back. I say the Bills at least redeemed themselves picking Edmunds, but that offense is still very questionable on the passing game.

4 Saquon Barkley

The generational back of this draft went second only to Baker Mayfield let's see how much regret they'll have in a few years what they really should of done, and take that ''Ray Jennings'' Running Back instead of going for perhaps a ''Bo Challahan'' type quarterback. Sorry, but Barkley was the best prospect, and to see him fall to New York cares the hell outta me. Their offensive line is horrid, from here on out I would want them to build within the trenches to make me feel comfortable he ain't gonna get hurt quickly.

The Browns had Saquon then they blew it

5 Quenton Nelson

A rock among man... I mean seriously this looks like a 10 year starting guard that the Colts really can benefit from a fixed offensive line slowly may come together with Nelson being the start of it all.

6 Vita Vea

I like this selection just from the moment I saw the name I'm like yeah that sounds like a football player with great upside to really disrupt plays. He may help up J.P.P, McCoy, & Curry greatly, now with Vea this could be an interesting up front defensive line to see.

Bucs starting d-line is know Jason Pierre-Paul, Vinny Curry, Gerald McCoy, and Vita Vea. #siegetheday

7 Marcus Davenport

Here's the guy I heard a lot of that fell expectedly in the teens, but no way would I ever thought that Saints would jump up to grab him is a win even up front to opposite of Cameron Jordan I say this Saints defense looks scary already after building a great draft last year could they go two and a row?

8 Kolton Miller

I also like where McGlinchey fell in the draft, but Miller going to the Black hole is a very interesting choice from Jon Gruden especially. a almost 7 footer guarding to the left for a old perhaps washed up Donald Penn I say Derek Carr has some bright hope into his protection line, I like to dub him Kolton the bruiser.

9 Minkah Fitzpatrick

He was the first safety taken from the board, and fell to a good looking landing spot that needs more depth at secondary, Could transition into a Malcolm Jenkins type player.

10 Sam Darnold Samuel Richard Darnold is an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.

Granted he wasn't my top quarterback, but based on the activity off-field, and footage I have no problem with him going to the Jets especially when finally they drafted an offensive player the streak is over, and that's what matters. He'll learn from old vet Josh McCown, but may transition pretty quick compared to Baker Mayfield who at the last minute was the Browns guy all along.
