Top Ten Pirates of the Caribbean Sword Fighters

The Top Ten
1 Jack Sparrow Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, is a fictional character and the main protagonist in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. He is a pirate in the film series. The characterization of Sparrow is based on a combination of The Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards and Looney Tunes cartoon character Pepé Le Pew. He first appears in the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. He later appears in the sequels Dead Man's Chest (2006), At World's End (2007), On Stranger Tides (2011), and Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).

Screenwriters say that Norrington, Barbossa and Will are all better swordfighters than Jack. But Jack uses his brains to fight so he can beat basically anyone.

The one can defeat all the intelligence and see who can against something so amazing

2 Hector Barbossa

Hector Barbossa can beat everyone if he wants. He is definitely stronger than Jack and more experienced than Will.

He is better than Jack nearly killed him had it not take the spell of not dying

Barbossa has already defeated Jack in open combat.

3 Will Turner William "Will" Turner is a fictional character and main protagonist in the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Technically the best swordsman is Will. Barbossa might have been stronger in his prime, but he is already too old, so if we they will engage in an equal fight - where both feel and can get tired and killed, Will is able to hold his own agains Barbossa until he will get tired, then he will win.
- but that works only in a fair fight. As well as with Jack, Will can still lose. only his technical skill of swordsmanship is the best, not the experience nor tactics.

Will is said to be the best swordsman in the movies by the screenwriters. And just look at the fight between Jack, Norrington and Will. Nomatter how you look at it Will is clearly the best.

Will Turner is the best swordsman. Only the ignorant people who understand nothing about fencing/swordsmanship can't see that.

4 James Norrington
5 Davy Jones Davy Jones is a fictional villain character in the Pirates of the Caribbean feature film series, who first appears in the second film, Dead Man's Chest and returns in the series' third installment, At World's End.

Jones is far more experienced with centuries of being a pirate

6 Elizabeth Swann Elizabeth Swann, played by Kiera Knightley, is the female protagonist of the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films.
7 Angelica Teach
8 Blackbeard Edward Teach or Edward Thatch, better known as Blackbeard, was an English pirate who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of Britain's North American colonies.

Though it may be debatable that he was only able to outperform Barbossa due to his loss of leg, he was certainly very tactical and wise with his blade, and it should also be noticed that Barbossa was using two weapons during his fight, which proved to create minimal extra difficulty on Blackbeards part.

Jack, Will, Barbarossa, and all the rest above Blackbeard were and are indeed better characters but I don't think they could defeat him in a sword duel. I even remembered that he lost to Barbarossa because he had a poison blade and cut Blackbeard with it.

9 Bootstrap Bill Turner
10 Pintel
