Scotland deserves the independence, they are the richest region in natural resources in the UK and they are poor compared to England.

3 Kurdistan

A people that survived the Ottomans, the British, Saddam Hussein, and ISIS. Deserve to have their own state.

Ineed Kurds deserve independence, they Fight ISIS, and protecting all civilized world, while turkey is killing Kurds, helping ISIS, and is a part of NATO!

The Basque language, culture, people is so unique and not like Spanish culture at all! I'm part Basque and some of my family members speak Basque, and no other language is like it. I mean, if Catalonian is a language (even though it is quite similar to Spanish, no offense) then Basque (Euskara) is too!

Catalonia doesn't deserve independence from Spain.

This autonomous region of Spain wants to gain full independence. It has its own language, it is home to Barcelona (a pretty great city, from what I've heard) and is quite close to gaining independence. It even has it's own language (Catalan). Catalonia independence for the win!

They have been fighting for independence for so long from Spain and honestly deserves to be higher on the list.

They don't deserve the independence, they wanted for selfish reasons and also racists.
