Top 10 Most Pointless Cartoon EpisodesThere are cartoon episodes that are either good or really bad and then there are these episodes that are not just bad but feel like a complete waste of the audience time either because it does nothing to further the plot, an ending that completely throws out everything in the episode or an episode that completely strays too much away from the actual plot of the episode.

This episode could have redeemed itself if it weren't for the ending where the character just decide to sweep everything under the rug and pretend like nothing happen so what was the point of having the plot about Skinner taking the identity of the real Seymour Skinner just so they could throw everything out the window at the last minute this makes no sense making the whole episode entirely pointless. - egnomac
This episode existed simply so the creators could bash the critics and the fans of the original show and dupe millions of kids into watching this mess by titling it the Return of Slade only to never show Slade at all and instead have it all happen off screen and the rest of the episode is nothing but a waste of time. - egnomac
The entire episode was nothing more than an excuse to waste the audience time by baiting them into thinking they were going to watch a very special episode where all will be revealed only for the show to blatantly lie and show a very unfocused poor excuse for an anniversary special and don't even get me started with the live action Patchy the Pirate segments which could have been cut out entirely since it doesn't contribute anything to the episode at all and the episode still would have flopped. - egnomac
The only episode from Avatar the Last Airbender that was nothing more than a complete waste of time it did nothing to further the plot and Aang even had to resort to lying just to get the two tribes to stop fighting, - egnomac

There's not actual shuffle boarding in this episode so why call it shuffle boarding and instead just throw random plots to confuse the audience. - egnomac

Meg finally stands up for herself only to accept her role as a lighting rod for everyone's abuse so they wouldn't turn on each other completely undoing everything she did with her speech. - egnomac
The entire episode is centered on Beast Boy and Cyborg making a bet to see who can say waffles the most and then beating that premise into the ground and pointing out how stupid and annoying it is repeatedly saying waffles over and over again doesn't make it funny there basically admitting that this episode was a waste of time. - egnomac
