Top Ten Most Pointless Mario Characters Of All Time
Pink Gold Peach is a character who debuts in Mario Kart 8, where she appears as an unlockable playable character. Am I the only one around here, that like all of the characters on this list?
Baby Rosalina is an infant version of the major character from the Mario Bros . Franchise, Rosalina . She first appeared in Mario Kart 8 as a playable character and is now one of 5 baby characters in the roster, alongside infant versions of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Princess Daisy . Baby Mario is reasonable, Baby Luigi is reasonable, Baby Peach is meh, but Baby Rosalina ISN'T. That ruins the immersion of the original counterpart.
Metal Mario is a character that appears in both the Mario series and the Super Smash Bros, where he made his first appearance in the Nintendo 64 version. He's pretty similar to Mario when using a Metal Cap, but instead of being a transformation, Metal Mario is his own character.

Ludwig Von Koopa is a villain in the Super Mario Franchise. He is the self-proclaimed leader of the Koopalings and has a pompous and arrogant personality. He is said to have all the powers of the other six Koopalings. He can clone himself, cause earthquakes, teleport, and shoot lightning bolts from his hands. He can also flutter. He was named after Ludwig Van Beethoven and both have similar hair. He is the smartest and cruelest Koopaling. This just represents the koopalings since I can't put all of them lol
Reasonable as a power-up in Super Mario 3D World, but kinda wasted in Mario Kart 8. What is the point of adding her in the roster? She's just a power-up, that makes her a duplicate version of the original self! Powerup characters should not be permitted in Mario Kart games, it's a waste of space through legacy and requested characters.

Birdo is a dinosaur that is well known for her (or his) confused Gender. It was originally stated that Birdo was a male who believed he was a female, but this was changed in later games. Birdo is commonly referred to as a girl, however, they are in a relationship with Yoshi. Birdo first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2 as an enemy towards the player. She is now included in many spinoff titles of the Mario franchise as a playable character, including the Mario Kart series and the Mario Party series.

Wendy O. Koopa is a female villain in the Super Mario Bros. franchise. She is the only female member of the Koopalings and is usually found assisting Bowser on his wicked plans with the rest of the Koopalings. She first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3 in 1988 and since then has been a reappearing foe in the Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. series. She has also appeared as a villain in the Paper Mario series and similar games. She is a playable character in the Mario Kart franchise and other spin-off series and can be played as an alternate skin to Bowser Jr. in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS and its sequel Ultimate for Switch. This could come out rude to some fans but here is my opinion...
Wendy is a selfish brat with no purpose but to mindlessly serve Bowser. She has nothing to do with the franchise expect be a supporting character. I'm not a koopaling HATER but they aren't my fave. Also what makes me mad is the whole wendy fan base seriously just blames peach and hates on her and every other girl in the Mario franchise. I'm gonna end this with some really critical thinking... Wendy is a big ugly dragon turtle monster with bangles that can fit the hulk, a bow that looks like the one on the back of my mom's wedding dress and oversized lips. Roy Koopa is one of the seven Koopalings. In the DIC cartoons Roy is called Bully Koopa. Roy has a tough guy demeanor, but wears pink which is most likely a reference to real men wear pink. Roy also wears hot pink sunglasses and from an angle it looks like he has no eyes.
Larry Koopa is the youngest koopaling. He first appeared in Super Mario Bros 3, which came out in 1990. He is known for his blue mohawk hair. He was created by Nintendo.
Plain out copy of Metal Mario and is overall a disappointment to anyone who decided to get 1st in every cup on 200 speed, which takes lots of dedication.
