Note: None of these will beat it 100% of the time. I put them on this list because they would win the majority. If you have any pokemon that could take mewtwo down, feel free to put it on this list.

2 Rayquaza (mega)

Ok I have done their battles at least 50 times so I know what I am talking about here. out of the 50 battles Rayquaza won 45 of them. The only reason Mewtwo won is when mega Mewtwo y got a crit with ice beam. on the other 45 times Rayray just 1 shotted it with dragon ascent. Both mewtwo x and y were beat by this thing. Mewtwo x lost every single time. Rayquaza takes this one no doubt

4 Giratina Giratina is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Giratina first appeared in the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, but gained prominence in the sister game, Pokémon Platinum, which it was made the mascot of.

It has a massive Hp stat so it can tank an ice beam. than it could use shadow force and OHKO it. Or you could just use shadow sneak twice.

5 Aron Aron, known in Japan as Cokodora, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Yeah this thing! Sturdy, endeavor, sandstorm.
it can beat it a majority of the time! it can use endeavor than use sandstorm or toxic. IT needs to be level 1 and have these 3 moves.
Endeavor
Toxic
Sandstorm
get them and you are all set.
winning percentage, 75%. I say 75% because you can still waste endeavor's PP but it can just use toxic. Mewtwo can still take it out despite this

6 Chansey Chansey, known in Japan as Lucky, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Yes you heard me right. CHANSEY! yes it stands n chance against mega mewtwo x but most peeps give it mewtwonite y so chansey takes majority. How to beat mewtwo with it?

Step 1. GET AN EVIOLITE!
Step 2. Teach it minimize, soft boiled, and toxic
Step 3. Troll it to death!
My chansey once took out a whole team of legends so this thing stands a good chance.

7 Darkrai Darkrai, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

But It only has a base stat of 600 it stands no chance! WRONG! step 1. Put it to sleep. Step 2. USE DARK PULSE OVER AND OVER AGAIN! dark void only has 50% accuracy so it could go either way. I give the majority to darkrai though, simply because of its typing.
winning percentage, 70%

8 Ratatta

Yes you heard me, A RATATTA! focus sash, endeavor, quick attack! unless mewtwo knows recover OH WAIT IT CAN USE QUICK ATTACK 1st!

winning percentage, 70%. I say 70% becuase you can trick the player into wasting endeavor's PP than mew2 can take it out.

9 Groudon (primal) Groudon, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

This thing can tank anything mewtwo has to offer. than it can one shot it with precipice blades or eruption. Yeah mewtwo is dead. On the other hand regular groudon stands no chance.

10 Ditto Ditto, known in Japan as Metamon, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Specifically imposter ditto. Just imagine mega mewtwo y stacked up on calm mind and knows shadow ball. Your ditto has a timid or jolly nature so it will be faster than it. It transforms into Mewtwo and it just destroys it. If he has a whole team of other mewtwos they are all going down. DITTO SWEEP!
