Top 10 Pokemon That Should've Been Given a Fighting Type

Back when I first caught this pokemon I've always considered Bisharp as a fighting type. The design resembles more like a knight rather than having typical traits of dark type. It has blades and a bit of edginess (both literally and figuratively), but the way how its designed seems to fit more of the fighting type rather than dark.

Its Pokedex entry says: "If it comes across a Seviper, its fur bristles and it assumes its battle pose. Its sharp claws are its best weapon.". Zangoose also has a high attack stat which is correlated between fighting types. Its movepool also has 7 fighting moves in total.

I think Samurott would fit the fighting type better than Emboar, while Emboar should've been given the ground type (since pigs surround themselves with mud in order to keep themselves cool), and that there were already three fire/fighting type starter pokemon in a row - Blaziken, Infernape, and Emboar. Okay, now back to my main points. First off, it's called the "Formidable Pokemon", but if you look at Dewott, it's categorized as the "Discipline" pokemon. Discipline is attributed to fighting types. Dewott is said to have different fighting strategies with its seal-chops. Second, Samurott is very similar of a samurai as its name and design strongly suggests. Therefore it strongly resembles more of a water/fighting type pokemon. The only issue with it is its stats (its Sp. Attack being slightly higher than its physical attack)

Its pokedex says: "The thick arms of this hot-blooded Pokémon can deliver punches capable of obliterating a dump truck", which indicates that it's a heavy fighter. Darmanitan also learns a few fighting type moves and has a high attack and HP. Plus its stocky build resembles that similar of a sumo. So it would be a good fit for a fire-fighting type.

He's a beefy one so I can see how this would've been a fighting type.

Pinsir not being categorized as a fighting type or at least a Bug/Fighting type is something I get confused with. He learns five fighting type moves as he levels up, and has a high attack stat, both of which makes Pinsir worthy enough to be a fighting pokemon.

My comment about Bisharp also applies to Greninja, but he shows many similarities to ninjas, who are skilled at fighting and stealth. Frogs live in swamps, which may be classified as dark type. Most of his moves aren't fighting type for sure, but his learn set has a handful of physical-type moves. A dark typing may be fitting to him, but I think his design leans closer to an agile fighting type.

Its pokedex literally says: "After hurling ferocious punches and flinging furious kicks, it finishes opponents off by spewing fire from around its navel." Clearly capable of fighting. Additionally, Incineroar's design is obviously showing masculine traits, and can learn a good number of fighting type moves.

Note that I am basing this comment off its appearance, since Marowak only learns a few fighting type moves in its movepool hence why it's on last place. Apart from that, Marowak's stance and design has similar appearances of a brute or a warrior.

The way how it's designed Zeraora looks pretty fit and mobile, and its movepool contains many fighting moves. Its high attack and speed is also reasonable for it to be an Electric/Fighting dual type pokemon.

He looks like a puncher so make it a fighting type!
