Top 10 Pokemon with the Highest Special Defense Stats
Pokemon with the highest special defense. I hope you find this list helpful. While it's not the best offensively, it's certainly the best in both defense and special defense. I suggest having it hold leftovers with a moveset consisting of rest, toxic, swagger, a weather based move such as Sandstorm, and a move that prevents your opponent from switching Pokemon if one is available. The leftovers and Rest can help you stall when they are taking damage from poison and Sandstorm, and the move that disables the target from switching also helps. Now get out there and annoy the heck out of people!
Not a fan of this Pokemon, but it's defense is crazy. It can be a pain to defeat in a battle.
Agree my oppent had nothing but shuckle one time in a pokeon battle it took me 2 hours to beat him
I suggest a moveset that covers a lot of it's weaknesses, with moves such as focus blast, bulldoze, and blizzard as a stab move. I'm not sure what item I'd give it though, maybe a Life Orb, considering it's a pretty decent Special Attacker as well. Alternatively, you could give it hail, clear/ice body and leftovers, so that way you can easily gain HP back or your stats won't be reduced.
Ice Beam (for grass and dragon types), Earthquake (electric types), Calm Mind (, and Hydro Pump/Surf for STAB (Hydro Pump is more powerful, but Surf is more reliable). I don't know what to use for an item, maybe a Quick Claw to get more kills. You can give it Drizzle as it's ability to increase the power of Hydro Pump/Surf. Actually, I think that a Blue Orb would be a better item, because it will take on a more powerful form, potentially getting you more kills than a Quick Claw.
Psychic (STAB)
Toxic
Recover (For regaining health, you won't have to use it a lot considering it's Special Defense and Defense stats are so high)
Cosmic Power (To increase Special Defense even higher and increase the power of Psychic)
Item = Leftovers (Again, for regaining health, is very useful because it's very hard to take down)
Ability = Pressure (only ability, unfortunately)
Ice Punch (Many positives, such as dealing with ground types and has a chance to freeze)
Stone Edge (ultimate STAB)
Toxic (For potentially poisoning an entire team? )
Magnet Rise (Makes Ground Type moves, which are 4x strong against Probopass, ineffective.)
Item: Leftovers (You know why.)
Ability: Sturdy (So you can get a quick toxic on your opponent's Pokemon before Probopass faints.)
