3 Billie Eilish Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell, known professionally as Billie Eilish (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter, best known for her songs "When the Party's Over", "Bury a Friend", "Everything I Wanted", "Happier Than Ever" and especially "Bad Guy".

(I will use her real name, O'Connor, for my comment.) It seems like O'Connor's songs would be really bad with titles like bury a friend and all the good girls go to hell, but I've been proved wrong. I enjoyed her 2019 album "when we all fall asleep, where do we go? ". Since she gained radio traction with bad guy and everything I wanted, her popularity has spiked since last year.

4 K.S. Chithra Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra, often credited as K. S. Chithra or simply Chithra, is an Indian playback singer from Kerala. Chithra also sings Indian classical, devotional, and popular music.

She is the only one diva and superstar.

5 Post Malone Austin Richard Post (born July 4, 1995), known professionally as Post Malone, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, and guitarist.

The 2019 album "Hollywood's Bleeding" is Malone's first amazing album. His 2018 album was just good, and his 2017 album was simply trashy washy except for Congratulations. Overall, Malone's popularity decreased since 2018, but his quality definitely improved.

He was huge in 2019 probably even more so than in 2018. He had 2 albums that were among billboards top ten albums of the year one of the biggest hit songs of the year with Sunflower.

He hasn't released anything this year so far though.

6 Taylor Swift Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift is best known for writing personal songs and has won 13 Grammy Awards... read more

I can say only good things about the 2019 album "Lover". It's 3 singles are amazing, and the included LGBTQ+ representation was necessary. Swift's popularity has decreased, but not as much as Katy Perry's.

7 Drake Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor, born on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Canada. He started his career on Canadian reality show "Degrassi: The Next Generation".
8 Ed Sheeran Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He sang songs such as The A team and Shape of You. He was born in Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk.

I don't pay attention to Sheeran's albums, but he's always been releasing amazing singles. The only bad single from his 2019 album "Collaboration No. 6" is South of the Border, but all the tracks are at least good. I would say, though, that Sheeran's popularity has definitely decreased.

9 Lil Nas X Montero Lamar Hill, better known by his stage name Lil Nas X, is an American singer and rapper who rose to fame after the release of his diamond certified single "Old Town Road", which spent 19 weeks atop the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

A new artist with a damn good 2019 album. Can't nobody tell me nothing.

12 City Girls
13 Camila Cabello Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, or professionally Camila Cabello (born March 3, 1997) is an American-Cuban musician. Camila was best known for being part of the girl group Fifth Harmony. Fifth Harmony are known for songs like Worth It, Work From Home, All In My Head (Flex), Bo$, and Sledgehammer. Camila left Fifth Harmony in December, 2016. In her solo career, Camila became a huge hit again with her songs Havana and Senorita which reached no. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

Once again, the former Fifth Harmony member packs a punch in the year 2019. A new album released by her was made, and I forgot its name, but her popularity has sharply increased thanks to a romantic relationship with Shawn Mendes, fully represented in Cabello's single, Senorita.

14 Panic! at the Disco Panic! at the Disco was an American pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 and featuring the current lineup of vocalist Brendon Urie, accompanied on tour by bassist Dallon Weekes, guitarist Kenneth Harris, and drummer Dan Pawlovich.

This year was the year for Brendon Urie. As Panic's only member, he made a 2019 album, "Pray For The Wicked", under the band name. Like Eilish and Cabello, Urie's popularity spiked this year, too.

She started her career by releasing songs on SoundCloud, and now she is a well-known pop singer with hits like Bad at Love, and Now or Never. She had originated from Tumblr, and believes Hotel Shampoo is racist.

A 2019 album dropped for Halsey, including the hit singles Without Me, Nightmare, and Graveyard. Her popularity fell this year in place of Ava Max, but she went back up once Max's popularity decreased.

16 Maroon 5 Maroon 5 is an American pop/pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. Before the current group was established, the original four members, Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, formed a band known as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school.

"Toast to the ones here today, Toast to the ones that we lost 'long the way", and we have definitely lost Maroon 5's quality last year, but it regained with Memories.

17 Ava Max

Ava Max joined Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, and Bebe Rexha in the list of artists with Albanian names. She debuted as an already popular artist with Sweet But Psycho, but it seems that her popular days ended the same year that they began.
