42 Heretic - Avenged Sevenfold

Symphony of Destruction - Megadeth - christangrant

43 Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple

Deep Purple song/riff is not related to the song you mentioned. R. Blackmore demonstrated in an interview how he used part of Beethoven's 5th but played it... backwards. Youtube this (3:45): "1116) The Most Famous Riff in the Rock and Roll History" - Metal_Treasure

Don't care. All I know that this is a good song. And I will listen it - zxm

@whoever added this - get your facts straight before spreading lies. Smoke On the Water, esp. the riff, was inspired by Beethoven's 5th and not by the song you mention - Ritchie Blackmore himself admitted it. And it was an inspiration and not a ripoff - if Mr. Blackmore feels guilty, he would never volunteer this information. - Metal_Treasure

44 Child in Time - Deep Purple

This one's a tough call. While the riffs and progressions are essentially identical, both were recorded in 1969, although "Child In Time" wasn't released until 1970. Haven't researched any backstory, so can't argue pro or con.

Not clear whether this was "ripped off" or shared by agreement. - BobG

53 Hello I Love You - The Doors

@Toucan nope. It's not true. Ray Manzarek admit that he took Ray Charles' What'd I Say organ intro to Break on Through's organ intro, but all the way he denied that he would took this from Kinks. Even he told that the atmosphere of this song from Cream's Sunshine of Your Love, not from ADAAOTN. And even Ray & Dave Davies didn't want to sue the Doors... - somekindofaguy
