Why I Love California

I've never been to many other states before, but California is probably one of the better states in the U.S. to live in. There's just so many things great about it.

1: There are many climates
We have desert, mountains, valleys, beaches, ocean, canyons, snow... it's really beautiful out here with towering mountains sitting right in front of Southern Cali.

2: Los Angeles
Of course, we have the Los Angeles county, one of the largest and most populated counties in the world. It is also one of the most ethnically diverse counties in the U.S. It can be very easy to find a job out here.

3: There's a lot of things to do out here
See a concert, go to the beach, visit a ski resort, go camping, drive dune buggies and dirt bikes, visit Hollywood, see the Long Beach Indy race, go to an amusement park, see a basketball game... there's almost an endless amount of things to do out here. There are tons of places to visit and events to see. You'll never be bored.

4: Celebrities!
Most celebrities live out here in the Los Angeles county, and it's fairly easy to run into one. I've ran into one celebrity and that was Chris Rock. There are also a lot of concerts held out in Cali.

5: Beautiful beaches
Probably one of my most favorite things to do here is visit the beach on a warm sunny day with nothing but my board and the high tide. It's fun and relaxing at the same time. Most beaches are packed with people, but there are some beaches that are silent with only few people if you don't want a crowd.

There are many other reasons to love California. I'll never move from this state because it's my home, and it's definitely an amazing place to call home.

I'd like to move to Encino - bobbythebrony

It was out of sight.

I'm back in Encino
You got to believe
I'm back in Encino
Got to believe.
And everything's all right.
The sky above and
The ground below.
Bring me,
Back to Encino.
It was lost,
Some time ago.
Now I'm just glad,
To be back home. - visitor

I've been to Cali once. Nice visit. I remember buying a Luigi balloon from Seaport Village in San Diego. - ProPanda

Aren't their earthquakes their? - visitor

Southern Cali is right on the San Andreas faultline so it is prone to devastating earthquakes. We haven't had any major ones in the last 20 years but they can come at any unsuspected moment - visitor

Um, I don't live in the US but in the UK, I think Dorset is the best to live in. - visitor
