It would have been so useful, too! As much as I would want a new album ASAP today but won't waste time camping outside the retailer's; the same would apply if I was in 1963. And I would have the music digitally, and not have to buy the whole album or have to dig the record out from under all of those books!

Well, in terms of nerd memoralia, it wouldn't be much different. If we're talking 70s-80s, people would still be wasting time getting Spiderman costumes and lightsabers. But Amazon and eBay would be popular still. Zazzle, I think, will have changed a lot too.
