Power Metal Songs with the Best Solos
Power Metal solos are usually fast but melodic. There are lots of power metal bands and lots of great solos. But not many ranking lists. In this list I have tried my best and chose best solos possible. I've also taken some helps from other sites so I can add popular solos. I hope you'll like these.
Yes, I also realize that power metal solos are overlooked but these solos are among the hardest to play in whole metal. They are very fast and usually long but they also must keep the melody. I would say power metal solos are pretty demanding.
A lot of solos came on my mind. I didn't know which I have to put on number 1. Finally I added it on number 1.
This song is interesting because Children of Bodom are basically a death metal band and vocals are still death growls but I agree the song can be considered power metal with folk tunes. And yes, this is one of the best Alexi solos. Keyboards solo is also great.

Yes, I've heard the song. This song has an awesome solo. The starting of solo kinda reminds me of Warfaze's Boshe Achi outro solo. Very fast licks.
It has 4 distinct solos, or 4-13 solos because the 4th solo has 8-9 mini-solos in it.

This band is one of the best for solos, if not the best currently. I think their twin lead guitars are awesome.
