Top 10 Predictions for the Sunday Games in Week 1 of the 2019 NFL Regular Season
Welcome to the most exciting 7 hours of football you will ever see on a Sunday. With that said this is the annual predictions where every week we take a look at a match up, and what could maybe stand out if called right on or not reminds to be seen.In my lock of the week I see Seattle absolutely devouring Bengals on both sides of the football. There playing at home, its almost too perfect choice to go with. To go above and beyond and say 40 right off the bat might be considered bold in a way. I can see this moderately okay offense be taken for one shining week.
And instead we get a 21-20 nail biter game
Now yes I'm aware they acquired Antonio Brown, but there is no way he is playing this game on time so we have to wait and see what happens next week. I still feel New England has the slightly better roster. They will fight to a close victory even though historically they never do well early, but get stronger towards the end of the season.
I was definitely not expecting a 33-3 blowout
One thing we could see play immediately for the Titans is the quarterback controversy could go on very early. I see Browns defense having a day on Mariota, and that could raise some question for those in Nashville.
Just replace Marcus Mariota with Baker Mayfield and Browns with Titans and this item would have been pretty close
Maybe I'm wrong on this, but long term picture Bills are gonna be the slightly better team, but with an offense with major question marks. If jets can limit this offense they should be good with a much needed win knowing the ascending ladder of teams afterwards gets more and more difficult.
Gotta give Buffalo credit they came back from 16-0 to win 17-16
If the Lions are going to win this game, they should give Kerryon tons of touches to really light it up on Arizona in their own turf. He will be the biggest difference in this one.
That would great for my fantasy team.
Usually most West coast teams struggle going to the east coast. I don't factor in this case, Rams to me are way too healthy not to pick, and I just don't feel that defense will shut down the trio of Cooks, Woods, and Cupp they should have a huge game on the road.
While it may sound like another lock by most I say this sounds like a trap for most survivor pick ems. If you remember last year Ryan Fitzpatrick had a great September for Tampa Bay. If that happens again that could mean a difference from picking 1st or not knowing he'll give it he's all. Will he have a suit if that were the case?
Not sure if they would win even with few weapons on the offense for Rivers. I believe if the Chargers can still be a playoff contender and avoid being 0-2 they have to unleash Henry as a great threat early on established.
The biggest key in this contest will be can Minnesota buy enough time (in protection) to get a few good plays going on offense? This will not be easy on a defense that looks to revamp itself up front with the weakness being more in the middle to go at. I can just vision Cousins going down again and again if this one becomes too one sided.
Ha jokes on you Kirk only got what 1 sack VIKINGS TOXIC FANBASE ACTIVE WE ARE WINNING THE SUPER BOWL PACKERS 1-15 VIKINGS 16-0
His offensive line is still pretty bad.
Luckily for Jimmy G he's stepping in return of injury against a team with a bad defensive secondary. Garoppolo should have a great game just based on that possibility. The other way around would be the biggest shock.
