Northern California is more beautiful and more seasonal. A lot of Southern California is an ugly desert, but you can't beat a beach sunset or a good mountain view.
It's so beautiful! It has the beaches, mountains, desert, forests, farmland. Everything! The Central Coast and Northern California are the most beautiful (Redwoods). San Francisco is fun and quirky and Los Angeles is fun and sunny.
The cities are dirty and tourists trash the place, but it is still well deserved to be first. With the redwoods and Sierra Nevada, it has to be. Even the dirty cities I mentioned aren't all that dirty in many spots and are still great looking.
Hawaii is the 50th and most recent state of the United States of America, receiving statehood on August 21, 1959. Beautiful state and culture. Beautiful island of volcanos, beaches, and palm trees. The food is great, and the people are sweet.

Oregon is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Oregon is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Washington, on the south by California, on the east by Idaho, and on the southeast by Nevada. Oregon is the best state in overall majesty. From the coast and the dunes to the deserts and mountains, Oregon is epic and I think it is better than Utah. I feel like this place should have more national parks. Here are some proposed national parks that I think should be created: Columbia River Islands National Park, Columbia River Estuary National Park, and Oregon Basin National Park.
To be honest, I think Crater Lake is not a good national park. The lake is the deepest in the country but it is devoid of life. There are no native fish in the lake. Not many people visit this national park compared to Zion and Grand Canyon. I think Columbia River Islands would be amazing. There are islands in the Columbia River that should be protected. Overall, Oregon should be number one and it is an amazing state. #columbia river islands national park!
Arizona is a U.S. state in the southwestern region of the United States. It is also part of the Western and the Mountain states. It's more than just desert. It has beautiful mountains and Flagstaff is great. It has the Grand Canyon, cool native reservations, nice national parks. Phoenix is kind of boring. I kind of prefer Tucson.

Breath-taking beauty which includes the awe-inspiring green forests, spectacular mountains, and the Puget Sound, home of the mighty Orca whales. The flowers are bountiful, colorful, and some aromatic. The national parks, waterfalls, hiking trails are all awesome. We love our wildlife and our pets.

Salt Lake is a quirky little town. People in Utah are surprisingly attractive and pretty chill.
Utah is uber underrated and diverse, ranging from palms and red rocks in the southwest, to some of the best skiing and impressive mountain ranges on Earth to the north, to some of the most unearthly beautiful canyons, arches, etc. in the desert all across the south.
I live in Oregon, and I think Utah should be number one. It's out of this world!

It may be cold in the winter, but please visit in the fall, spring, or summer.

Montana is a state in the Western region of the United States. The state's name is derived from the Spanish word montaña. As someone who can spell beautiful correctly, I believe this state is the absolute most beautiful in the United States. California is beautiful, but it's neither affordable in terms of time nor money. The people are miserable, there's no sense of community, and the state wants you to be poor.
As a staunch conservative living here against my will (my parents moved here about a decade ago), I can't wait to save up enough money to move our construction business to Montana. Hopefully, I won't be chastised for coming from a backward state. Aside from the political discussion, the absolute beauty and the sense of peace you get in Montana is unparalleled.

You cannot judge what this beautiful state has to offer by rushing through it on the Interstate. This state has to be explored off the beaten path to fully appreciate it.

Portland is a chill little town. The Maine accent is funny and the people are pretty nice. It's beautiful in fall, but watch out for moose.
This is everything beautiful that Oregon has, except it's the entire state. Maine has more coast, exponentially more lighthouses, and real winter.
The forests in Maine are better than in Washington state.

My beautiful Centennial State should be ranked higher. There's a variety of different terrains. To the east, there are the plains. Near the middle, the gorgeous Rockies. To the west, a more desert-like area.
I have always been drawn to the mountains though. When I lived in Denver, I would see them in the distance. It's a great place for nature lovers and people like me who appreciate nice views.

Its vast emptiness is what makes it so breathtaking. But Nevada isn't all desert. Don't forget the lakes and the forests over by the California border. This is the type of environment I dream of living in.

Tennessee is a state located in the southeastern United States. Tennessee is the 36th largest and the 17th most populous of the 50 United States. When you hear about the prettiest states, I never hear anything about Tennessee. I don't understand. Everything is so green and clean, even the outskirts of Nashville are very green. And then there are the Smoky Mountains in the east, which are breathtaking. As someone who comes from California, even I was surprised at how beautiful Tennessee was.
My home state, absolutely stunning mountains in the east. Just that part alone makes it one of the best!

You get waterfalls, woods that change color in the fall, hills, Adirondacks, and Finger Lakes. New York has it all.
First off, you have New York City, which has an amazing skyline and some amazing architecture with its rising buildings and beautiful bridges. "But New York's so dirty and ugly! Hmph!" With a city of over eight million people, yeah, it's going to be dirty. And the "ugly" parts are the Bronx, which every city has a version of.
Go east of the city and you'll find yourself in Long Island. There are so many awesome beaches there, and some bluffs in Montauk which could make a beautiful picture. Okay, now head upstate and you'll find the Catskill Mountains, which look stunning during autumn by the way. There are some really cool swimming holes and waterfalls there, and of course, stunning views.
Head even more upstate and you'll find yourself in the Adirondacks. Those are some of the most beautiful mountains in the country. You can find Lake George, Ausable Chasm, Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, Mount Marcy, and so much more!
Alright, now let's talk about Western New York! You have two of the Great Lakes there, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, which both have their unique looks to them. There's other cool lakes like the Finger Lakes and Green Lake State Park. You can also find some really breathtakingly beautiful waterfalls like Niagara Falls (one of the most beautiful and famous in the world), Letchworth State (Grand Canyon of the East), and Watkins Glen State Park, which has amazing rock formations and is roughly one of the most beautiful places in America. I haven't even mentioned half of the wonders New York has to offer, but it definitely deserves higher than #35! I say it should be in the top 10.
