Best Pro Wrestling Announcers

Everyone knows that wrestling is nothing without a great announcer. These are the guys who always made the show better. A list of the best to ever sit at the announcer's table.
The Top Ten
1 Gordon Solie

As J.R. has said Gordon Solie is the dean of broadcasting and the greatest announcer and everyone else is fighting for number 2.

2 J.R. Jim Ross
3 Gorilla Monsoon Robert James Marella, better known by his ring name of Gorilla Monsoon, was an American professional wrestler, play-by-play commentator, and booker.

Sure he was annoying, but he was one of the best announcers of all time, and during the 1980s he once called Hulk Hogan the greatest professional athlete in the world today. No argument there if you're a wrestling fan.

4 Joey Styles

The voice of ECW better remembered for his "Oh My God" line anytime anything extreme happened.

5 Jerry "The King" Lawler
6 Jessie "the Body" Ventura

The reason Jesse was a hit as an announcer was his wisdom and calling wrestlers other names, here's a list: Chico Santana, Ivan Puduski and Koko Buckwheat Ware, all said by Ventura and ONLY by Ventura.

Michael Cole great but the Coal Mine doesn't ever need to have a comeback.

The Contenders
11 Lance Russell

Lance dosen't get the credit he deserves as a great wrestling Announcer. Lance and his best friend Jerry Lawler made Memphis Wrestling the place to be and Lance in my mind SHOULD go to the WWE Hall of Fame where he should belong.
