Top Ten Problems with Social Media During the COVID-19 Outbreak
Oh no oh no oh no, another COVID-19 list, crap. BUT we are taking notice of what social media brings us as well as what people say on it! Let's see what has been said that is terrible.People are blaming Trump because of his attitude towards the virus and rightly so. He thinks it's over-exaggerated & will be gone soon when it's going to be around for a long time, maybe not as bad as it is now but there'll still be outbreaks. Furthermore, the US has the highest number of people who've been affected by the virus and the highest number of people who have died from it. He wants a vaccination by the time of the upcoming election which he thinks will boost his chances of winning - fat chance of that happening and even if there is one by then, it won't have been proven to be effective but sadly, all he cares about is winning.
This is just dumb and idiotic. The virus ORIGINATED IN CHINA, but people blame Trump for it. Now I know someone is gonna say they are going to blame Trump for his inconsiderate response to combating the virus, and I say this. He's not the only one in the US being inconsiderate about it.
I was actually the first person on TheTopTens to make a Coronavirus related list, and it was actually about why the New York Times Calling the Coronavirus the "Trumpvirus" is Stupid. Figures.
Not to be unexpected, but one of the biggest issues is how left-leaning Twitter has been. They somehow DON'T REMOVE TWEETS THAT THREATEN THE PRESIDENT, but any tweet that talked about the benefits of hydroxychloroquine, a drug that has somehow proven effective in treating Covid-19 patients, had to be removed for "promoting suicide". What and why?
It's quite hypocritical how much people pay attention to this guy. And I say this since they beg for the media to stop talking about him, yet they themselves talk about him much more.
There was a time that #panicbuying was trending, and while most opinions of this were highly negative, some were offering ADVICE about panic buying. Thank god this trend was over quickly even if the stores aren't as stocked as they were before.
They do at times, especially if they have hit national news, but a lot of the focus is on the US more often than not. Just because we have the largest number of cases doesn't mean that others are suffering too.
They keep calling it "Chinese Virus" which is why racists are blaming on China. No need to do that, no sir.
