Best Projected NFL Fantasy Running Backs of 2017

It seems like the most important position of all is getting 2 quality running backs right away. They'll be gone like that and your going to second guess yourself and probably go towards WRs which is a lot more deep then the RB position clearly. Here are the clear cut choice you should grab, but someone will take them very high on the board most likely.
The Top Ten
1 Le'Veon Bell Le'Veon Andrew Bell is an American football running back for the New York Jets of the National Football League.

The most patience back in the NFL, as long as he stays out of trouble and keeps his positive attitude going it's hard not to pass on somebody explosive as Bell.

2 David Johnson David Jerome Johnson Sr. is an American football running back for the Houston Texans of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Northern Iowa.

If not already mentioned beforehand, David Johnson in many ways reminds me of Barry Sanders by the way he moves. I think he is going to be something special for the Cardinals to look forward to having.

3 Ezekiel Elliott Ezekiel Elijah Elliott is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He played college football at Ohio State, where he earned second-team All-America honors in 2015.

I have him surprisingly low due to the fact for those entering there 2nd year its pretty tough to follow up such a great rookie performance. Same goes for Dak as well.

Zeke can bull over defenders and break a long run. Defenses have to take care of Dak and him.

4 DeMarco Murray DeMarco Murray is an American football running back for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

Ladies and gentleman DeMarco Murray is back, and badder than ever. I was very skeptical on how they would use Murray, but my god is he back to how he'd faired in his Dallas days.

This guy didn't do crap for us. Chip Kelly had a great talent for sucking the life out of decent players.

5 Melvin Gordon Melvin Gordon III is an American football running back for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.

After a disappointing first year, Melvin bounced back tremendously well. Rivers looked like his old self, and there is life in L.A for now.

6 LeSean McCoy LeSean Kamel McCoy also known as "Shady" is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League.

His entering in his tail end of his career (most running backs tend to lose speed approaching there 30's), and I can't ignore that if his there then yes I would take em.

7 Jordan Howard

He is probably the only Chicago Bears player that I would definitely take a chance for since the Bears have had great history with running backs producing incredibly well.

8 Devonta Freeman Devonta Freeman is an American football running back for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

Coming off a solid year he can be a good pick around late round 2 to round 3 for me. Freeman does have that potential to really resemble Michael Turner which is not a bad thing.

9 Jay Ajayi Jay Ajayi is an American football running back for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He played college football at Boise State and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

I gotta say of all the Miami players, Ajayi came as a big surprise how well he did towards the mid season of 2016. Last time I saw a Miami running back come to the scene with great upside was Ricky Williams. (no Lamar Miller don't count in my book)

10 Marshawn Lynch Marshawn Terrell Lynch is an American football running back for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. He previously played for the Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks, winning one Super Bowl in Seattle. Lynch initially retired from professional football in 2016, but returned in 2017 to play for the Raiders.

Beast mode has returned, but in black and sliver, are we going to see the old Lynch or a new Lynch? Near the 20's he is gotta be a steal to look for in the 2nd round.

The Contenders
11 Christian McCaffrey

Of the rookie running backs the guy to look for based on line would be McCaffrey. I look at it this way, McCaffrey can be a great vital help to Cam Newton, and that line is actually pretty good expect a few holes, but then compared to the Jags, and what they have is a atrocious line. Why is Fournette high on so many expert rankings? I except him to be terrible his first year, while McCaffrey finds pretty good success his first year.

12 Lamar Miller Lamar Miller is an American football running back for the Houston Texans of the National Football League.

He can be good enough as a round 3 type of running back, but most will have him going to the second round which alright I just think 3rd round material is best to get Miller if by that point you desperate need decent RB's.

13 Todd Gurley Todd Gurley II is an American football running back for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

Coming off a very disappointing second year, Gurley may look to bounce back. If he does not then things for the Rams are going to looking grim quickly.

14 Leonard Fournette Leonard Joseph Fournette III is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League.

I'm not as high as most experts, but think about this last year I was high for Chris Ivory, and that totally did not work out after realizing how bad that offensive line is. Why would I want Fournette for if his going to produce at best maybe if lucky one 100 yards game while every other game he stumbles because of how awful the offensive line is.

15 Dalvin Cook

Rookie, but his competing against a pretty good Running back as well in Latavius Murray. Between the two its hard to say who does more.

16 Carlos Hyde Carlos Hyde is an American football running back for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.

His had some pretty great games early on in the last two season, but can he stay consistent enough to really show as the only 49er to perhaps gamble on.

17 Eddie Lacy Eddie Darwin Lacy, Jr. is an American football running back for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

A big time risk not only for his weight scare by not losing the pounds, but also Thomas Rawls may split carries with Lacy.

18 Spencer Ware

His ranked low on the expert rankings which I get, but the Chiefs history with RB's are actually very great. Ware is like a sleeper if anyone decides to pass him then take em.

19 Doug Martin Douglas Matthew Baranco Martin is an American football running back for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League.

Martin has been very up and down in his career he'll have a great season then he'll have a disappointing season. If you get this pattern then you should know that for how low he is. Its best you have him as a backup, but if your two starting Rb's are by ''committee'' then switch that with Martin, and I kind of like that chance a lot more.

20 Isaiah Crowell Isaiah Hassan Crowell is an American football running back for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He played college football at Georgia and Alabama State. Crowell was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2014.

One of the only two Cleveland players last year that actually did more than expected, and his definitely one of the better players on that really atrocious roster they have that needs help.

21 LeGarrette Blount

I mean I know he may not do as well, but he got most of the rushing TD's with Patriots. Now entering Philly what purpose could they serve him? I rather pick a healthy Blount over an injury prone Ryan Matthews.

22 Mike Gillislee

Blount does not want to be back with New England enter Gillislee who might be a really big sleeper of the unknown.

23 Ty Montgomery

I don't like the way Green Bay used a WR as there RB is just absurd, but would I say he should be drafted in round 4 or 5 absolutely not. His a risky pick considering I do not see them doing this for long. Another guy I think will slip most people's mind when drafting is Jamaal Williams who I hope makes a good impression just so Packers can use a legitimate running Back, and not flew a Wide Receiver into running the ball and eventually he gets hurt almost every year.

24 Paul Perkins

A bit high for a dude that has been proven not exactly worthy yet, bu t the Giants need that spark at running back can Perkins be that guy nobody saw coming this year?

25 Joe Mixon

He could be the next Randy Moss, but I'm not very high for him why? Look at the two RB's that are competing for the starting position for Cincinnati with Mixon. I mean Jeremy Hill is good, and Bernard is solid as well. The only way Mixon can stay at #1 in the depth charts is if he is impressive in preseason that's the only way this could be a good pick other wise very risky to pick by committee because you really don't know who the starting guy is of that roster.
