1 Hardcore Punk

One of the few subgenres where there is no doubt that it is 100% punk

Understands what Punk ia really about, aggression and rebellion!

2 Classic Punk

I was actually thinking of making this list yesterday. But there is no "punk" style that stacks up against the classic sound of The Ramones, Clash, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, The Germs, and The Descendants.

3 Ska Punk

Ska punk is not only my favorite punk rock sub-genre, but my favorite genre in general. Rancid(although they also fit into hardcore punk! ), Goldfinger, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, so many good bands. But really, everyone wins as long as its punk.

4 Melodic Hardcore
5 Pop-Punk

I know, pop music is the worst thing wich mankind ever made but pop-punk is really good

Pop punk aren't very bad that some say. green day is a good punk though

6 Crust Punk

Br00tal stuff brah! It has elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. Best thing since Deathgrind and crossover Thrash!
