3 The Offspring The Offspring The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. Formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, bassist Greg K., lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman and drummer Pete Parada.

All these bands deserve credit but none more than Offspring, The Offspring have done it all, and decades later they are still going strong, They Have so many hit singles and they always respected their huge fanbase which changed over the years but no one can deny how catchy their songs are and how powerful their messeges are. I personally like their style a lot more than Green Day and Blink, and soon a new album is going to be released independently? Maybe fans might be in for a treat.

A million times better than Green Day in my opinion.

The offspring deserve more credit!

Come on, they started 2 years before Green Day did, they deserve twice the credits than GD. I love GD don't get me wrong, but come on...it's The Offspring.

20 The Lawrence Arms
21 Sugar Ray

The fact they pursued Pop because of one song is sad. Lemonade and Brownies, as well as Floored, were amazing, fast and great.

22 Descendents Descendents The Descendents are a punk rock band formed in 1977 in Manhattan Beach, California by guitarist Frank Navetta, bassist Tony Lombardo and drummer Bill Stevenson.

This list is absurdly factually inaccurate. Most of these bands are not 90s bands. Descendents formed in 1977, Bad Religion 1980, The Misfits 1977, NOFX 1983, so on and so on. More then half the bands on here are from the 80s.
