Ht's NFL 2018-2019 Season Preview/Predictions

Hello again ladies and gentlemen we are so ever getting closer to a brand new season of NFL football. This year I'm gonna do this solo since Randomator has already did his, and therefore collaborations of this is not needed, but you can still hear my thoughts on how I survey the turnout the season could become it may not be entirely accurate we could laugh at em by the time its over, but we can at least have a say in beliefs right? Sit back, and relax, and listen up welcome arguably the most exhilarating sport in all of america today.

I probably should of seen it coming that Dallas was not gonna be the team that they were in 2016, but seeing that the team operates its seems like when zeke gets something going the entire starts to click as well. They came up short almost sneaking in the playoffs only to lose to Seattle in the stench. They have some nice backup pieces like Taco, or Vander Esch there first round pick could be an immediate impact in case Sean Lee goes down again. I'm not underestimating that may have a sub-par decent defense, but it might not be good enough to push for the playoffs i'll say that much its still an unknown defense trying to find itself. Same goes for most of the offense we know their offensive line is great, but it can't just be zeke running up everytime you gotta trust some of those receivers you have there maybe Gallup could play a role down the season. Since Dak, and Zeke have arrives there still aren't the high and mighty combo that wins at home no less which is a problem for Big D. I can see some games where it could come close, but they could lose some of those games like divisional opponents or just straight up superior teams. Ultimate they'll be competing for last place considering the pieces they have suffered great casualties are almost too much to replace the likes seen. 5-11... there not a team to take lightly, but there not immortal as they once were either.

New York Giants

Projected Lineup:
QB - Eli Manning
RB - Saquon Barkley
WR 1 - Odell Beckham Jr.

SS - Landon Collins

Special Teams

P - Riley Dixon

The Giants were shockingly awful last year after having a big turnaround in 2016 what happened exactly? Oh right because the coach decided to say screw this season, and obviously tanked this got his early exit before the season has ended. New York needed something to go from scratch, and unfortunately they lost Jason Pierre Paul to the Bucs which means they'll change into a 3-4 defense see how that plays out. Not a terrible defense, but there are a few notable pieces outta town to new homes. The big buzz for this season is the general back Saquon Barkley from Penn State, and when I hear a running back from Penn State its one of those curse myths that you gotta be careful looking at with high regrades I look at the good such as Franco Harris, and Larry Johnson was too bad for a bit, but than I look at the tailing tail of some patterned atrocious tail backs in row like Blair Thomas, Ki-jana Carter, Curtis Enis, and D.J Dozier among others. His definitely something to watch just to see the turnout of a very difficult season for the Giants that schedule is no slouch you got some winnable, but for the most these look very brutal on preview how they can pull them out. I'm not sold if Barkley will have a good rookie consider that offensive line has maybe a good left side, but the rest doesn't look like it will hold up any better to me. Odell could have a huge year though in tough situation he wants big pay raise well if he goes out like a stud in a turnaround he could do that if not huge loss for the Giants at receiver I mean they already lost Brandon Marshall I mean wow. I could see them win some games, there defense does not look nearly as bad as other could be, but my problem is their path this season is impossible if they win more than 5 games i'll be shocked, but the ceiling cannot be that high especially seeing this team needs more help in order to be good again. 4-12

Philadelphia Eagles

Projected Lineup:
QB - Carson Wentz
RB - Jay Ajayi
WR 1 - Alshon Jeffrey
WR 2 - Nelson Agholor

Alright we go to the Super Bowl defending champs The Eagles, ''FLY EAGLES FLY!'' Anyways it was nice to see a new team actually win for the first time. This Philly team is so stacked from both sides of the football last year made them special. They preserved through injury the best of their abilities and never gave up. An underrated reason a team does well in the NFL you build in the trenches, and look like legitimately good teams, and in this case the pieces came forward in Doug Pederson's control, and proved to the world his got plenty of years left to maybe go the distance again, but the NFC is no slouch there are some hungry teams that want it too, but they should molly whoop the entire NFC East easily. They have the best O-line in football, one of the brightest and talented QB duos in history that makes for a dynasty perhaps in the future if so Philly is a favorite for sure. One thing though that is a glaring weakness I cannot overlook, and that's corner they don't have the best Corners out there thus they can get burned at times however I'd say there good enough to rule that division to the top we shall see. 13-3

Washington Redskins

Projected Lineup:
QB - Alex Smith
RB - Chris Thompson
WR 1 - Jamison Crowder
WR 2 - Paul Richardson
TE's - Jordan Reed, Vernon Davis
LT - Trent Williams
LG - Tony Bergstrom
C - Chase Roullier
RG - Brandon Scherff
RT - Morgan Moses

Defense Side
DE's - Jonathan Allen, Matthew Ioannidis
DT's - Da'Ron Payne?, Stacey Mcgee
OLB's - Ryan Kerrigan, Zach Brown, Mason Foster, Preston Smith
CB 1 - Josh Norman
CB 2 - Quinton Dunbar
FS - D.J Swearinger
SS - Montae Nicholson

Special Teams
K - Dustin Hopkins
P - Tress Way

Awe the Redskins... where do I begin? They got rid of Kirk Cousins for an aging Alex Smith who now granted came off his best season in his career in Kansas City, but here's my problem with this his gonna have a much worse receiving core to deal with than the one he had which was the best setup he could work to now a more lesser down version. Seeing both of their first two drafts picks go down does not help any matter either pretty sad both Payne, and Guice on the shelf unreal I feel like i'm seeing the Buffalo a team a few years where both their picks didn't play and there way just average with nothing known progress to comfortable to say moving forward that's what this team kinda is a decent to mediocre type squad. I mean Chris Thompson is now gonna get the full workload he'll be the guy of value on that team he proved it last year, and Alex Smith will most likely go to him more often, and a guy I think he'll be glad to see again is old teammate Vernon Davis could be a good resurrection season for him. I mean for such a soso team they do have a very good linebacking group there probably one of the best led by Ryan Kerrigan arguably their most important player on the field if you check his stats his a capable leader who can keep a game close together. A pretty god offensive line I mean the running backs have been able to have good moves to keep the drives alive, but what looks to be the problem moving forward is the receivers are not consistent enough they'll be very frustrating to watch. If Payne end up out longer than it seems than that defensive running game is in deep trouble. Washington does put up a fight, but what's best moving forward is move on from Jay Gruden what does he got left now that Cousin has gone to another team now.

Alright what I think will be the toughest division in football this year being the North of NFC looks to be a tight four way race, how much improvement would Da Bears show with new head coach Matt Nagy? There a beatable club for sure there not good against the run, but did fairly well in the defensive passing game thus they retained there defensive coordinator... okay. The story for this team is that offense if the O-line does do well than Trubisky may have a big year two that many speculate could be possible. Jordan Howard if he can complete more short passes can become a very dynamic player for this team being the most valuable player on the offense. You brought in some nice looking weapons Allen Robinson, and Trey Burton, and as well drafted a second round Anthony Miller who is the #2 surprisingly interesting how that plays out. One thing I have concern for though is be Mitchell get the ball out quick especially by his side sides of the offensive line is my one weakness I see with this team moving forward. The Schedule is fairly decent to the point they could have a good amount of win, but is that gonna be against poor teams, or decent ones if so they have a chance to at least stay competitive all season long. Seeing that the Lions made a new head coaching change indicates the unknown what will happen over there as well however don't judge a book by its cover until its unveiled I guess. 6-10

Detroit Lions

Projected Lineup:
QB - Matthew Stafford

Oh boy here we go my Detroit Lions what will they do this year? what will they try to accomplish if its not make an Immediate impact this year is they must establish a few things for me to feel comfortable in 2019. The running game must show vast improvements from the last 5 years I want a 100 yard rusher not just for a game, but at least for half of the games this year put some effort on these runs, and maybe I can start to believe there closer to getting a playoff win. How will this new linebacking core do will that improve or look worse we have been bad covering Tight Ends the past few years. Can Ansah stay healthy, and not be Levy'ed out the league, and finally a good offensive line unit we didn't have that last season giving up 45+ sacks alone is pretty bad enough. If these show lifelines being fixed during the season I have confidence they'll make noise next season, but for now I expect them to do poorly with an open mind. There could be some games down the road they should win, but will lose its sorta the same Lions formula I see coming thus I have finishing at the same record as Da Bears. 6-10

Green Bay Packers

Projected Lineup:
QB - Aaron Rodgers
RB - Jamaal Williams

Oh my goodness... my worst nightmare may just come true Joe Philbin is back in Green Bay, and now we maybe be seeing the resurrection of a Packers offense actually be that really good looking explosiveness they once were early in the decade. They signed some good pickups in Muhammad Wilkerson, and Jimmy Graham making those needs look superior than previous season. They draft two corners who while there not starting could become very good playmakers toward the end of the stench. The one weakness I see on defense is there broken up linebacking core no Jake Ryan feel it won't look so significant, but I think it could be. I'm not sure how the play of Mike Pettine would go, but you know what for what Dom Capers hadn't looked like for years with that defense thy might look much better with the play calling on defense, and thus a candidate to not make the playoffs, but could be dangerous deep in the playoffs even. We might see more hail mary's in the future, but there not invincible as they once were, but can be beat with a ton of pressure put on the O-line's protection isn't the greatest out there i'll say that much. 12-4 Yes I have them winning the division look at their schedule compared to Minnesota looks slightly better, and winnable to succeed highly.

Minnesota Vikings

Projected Lineup:
QB - Kirk Cousins
RB's - Dalvin Cook, Latavius Murray
WR 1 - Adam Thielen
WR 2 - Stefon Diggs
TE - Kyle Rudolph
LT - Riley Reiff

SS - Andrew Sendejo

Special Teams

P - Ryan Quigley

The crowning winners from last year the Vikings with new Quarterback Kirk Cousins to lead them to maybe better immediately, or a setback in the works perhaps. The defense is great, but there's only one man who could beat a tough defense like that, and his name is Aaron Rodgers. What I like what Minnesota did was they made sure to get rid of the biggest threat last season being Green Bay, and eventually took care of the Lions to go to the playoffs did well got a miracle touchdown to end the hope for the Saints but get mauled by the Eagles shortly there after. Plus the schedule they got this year is no cake walk while they can beat some of the best I feel like they lose just enough games to not have the crown again. Lots of great talent, bu at the end of the day it depends on how Kirk Cousins does his first year. 10-6 They could lose some games just based on the poor offensive line they got going right now it does not look pretty you could see Captain Kirk getting sacked a ton this season.

To me this is it for the Falcons to be a relevantly good football team if they can't manage to stay competitive this season than what do we see with this team moving forward last year they were more defense than offense due to the super bowl hangover they had. Now they gotta stay the same to me can you go back to the team you were in 2016 only now your defense is getting better now you need Matty Ice to go do what he does best for this team led them back to the super bowl a long shot as it sounds, but they have talent sure, but eventually that talent may go to other teams which could oppose as a problem if they don't get the job done now. Seeing how tough the NFC has got... there are gonna fight hard and nail to just sneak in again with a rising 49ers team, and maybe a team from the NFC North one of those get that 6th seed in my mind. 9-7

Carolina Panthers

Projected Lineup:
QB - Cam Newton
RB - Christian McCaffrey, C.J Anderson
WR 1 - Devin Funchess
WR 2 - D.J. Moore

While Carolina got things going in the right direction it may be another up and down theory trend to look at seeing a new offensive coordinator, and the bigger question can the offensive line hold up enough for Cam Newton to do what he does if he can't your season is over before it began because of careless upgrades at offensive line. The defense is clearly gonna carry the whole season I mean look at that 4-3 that's pretty impressive setup there, yet your secondary is almost so bad that it bugs me to the point I can see this team lose a lot because of that, and lack of good protection from blockers. For me you can't have Cam do it all he'll get hurt down the stench doing that method again in this case Christian McCaffrey is in the prime of his career let him get more touches yet at the same time you brought C.J. Anderson who is alright, but more of a #2 tail back at best. Greg Olsen could comeback strong after foot cramps basically what he suffered with all season, and I wonder how D.J. Moore fits in they tried with Benjamin I guess the relationship with he and Newton wasn't good thus they started over at that position. 7-9

New Orleans Saints

Projected Lineup:
QB - Drew Brees
RB's - Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram
WR 1 - Michael Thomas
WR 2 - Ted Ginn Jr.
TE - Benjamin Watson

Special Teams

Awe yes the defending NFC South Champions and a favorite to go to the super bowl the Saints are stacked almost everywhere its some spots at defense that do concern me like the middle their aren't that great as you think. They have very good secondary even despite the terrible error in the divisional game there pretty good at not giving up the big play at most times. I mean the offense is gonna be good unless somehow Brees got hurt which I doubt it will be stellar because the best #9 is operating the controls ready to kill real fast like the elite Quarterback he is. You got the best running duo in the league, but not the first four games just Kamara how will that play out? You got extra weapons in Benjamin Watson, and Cameron Meredith a solid offensive line when everybody is healthy they are caliber of being great as they look. Defensive Line i'm a little mixed one seeing that two of these players are pretty good while the other two i'm not really sure about... thus Marcus Davenport could emerge as well to replace one of the weaker defensive lineman rotate switch type player right? I do like the Saints a lot this year they could go deep, and heck could their revenge on the Vikings this season for all we know. 13-3

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Projected Lineup:
QB - Jameis Winston?, Ryan Fitpatrick
RB's - Ronald Jones II, Peyton Barber

Special Teams

Oh boy as much as I wanted to see a push in a must get to the playoffs scenario for Dirk Koetter I can't see it happen now that Atlanta, Carolina, and New Orleans all fairly good team suddenly, and now Jameis Winston might just be out after next season since the head coach does not have much faith in his character issue now becoming a bigger problem for the locker room despite teammates still backing him there is too much turmoil going on in Tampa. How will the rookie do in the running game, and Will Mike Evans still thrive even with Quarterback controversy in the fold? They got two really good Tight End tandem there Brate, and Howard... protection is definitely the weak link that could oppose as a problem for the Bucs that's gotta be fixed at some point it cannot be ignored. What's gonna happen with Vea having an injury early on in Training camp his not out for the season yet its something to watch especially how that defensive line looked interesting on paper. You got two good set of linebackers there, and you got a very vulnerable weakness in the secondary being so atrocious its is gonna be. Now you lose Hargraves for a bit making the situation worse as you could be one of the worst passing defenses coming into the season yikes. Koetter will most likely be shoves out the door, and try again from scratch with a new leading Quarterback perhaps in 2019. 4-12

Tank City! Seriously I can't take a team serious that looks to be in an obvious rebuilding season. Josh Rosen pretty much has a good running back, and an aging pretty much going into the hall of fame soon in Larry Fitzgerald. Seals-Jones towards the end did emerge, but can he be consist in every game I doubt, but you never know when a new season approaches. I'm not saying they have some good talent like Chandler Jones, and Patrick Peterson its just this is the season you probably should win that many games your just not good enough to me. Let it play out see how things go from there I can't see this team with Sam Bradford leading be the solution that's like having Jeff George as your starting Quarterback. They lose honey badger see how that goes Budda Baker now has a tall order to replace him by. I just don't see this defense stopping that many team on the schedule they have maybe division opponents, but that's really it I cannot see a successful season in Arizona happen in 2018 just not possible get more upgrades in the future Tank! Tank! Tank! 2-14

Oh my let Hollywood shine because the Rams are back in the A-list part of town. This team is in a must win situation mode why is that they put together a dream team signing guys like Suh, Peters, Cooks and Talib. Can it work this time around? For me I say it will pay off big this year let me tell you why Sean McVay enters his second year with the teams and could do big things kinda like what Doug Pederson did last season, and thus you also have a super bowl experience coordinator by your side in Wade Phillips a mastermind behind the success of Super Bowl 50. While their weakness could be the unknowns at Tight End and Linebacker there still strong enough I'd believe to overcome those gliars stare at them. This team is extremely capable of being another big time favorite in a stacked NFC Conference. 10-6

Oh boy 49ers have a reason to be excited this season and why is that Jimmy G passing along perhaps what could a very great Quarterback in the works he enters the season undefeated he'll likely lose games this season, but how good will team do around him? They got a pretty decent back in Jerick McKinnion getting rid of fumble issues Carlos Hyde I say that's an improvement. The offensive line might be a mixed bad I like what I see in getting Richberg, and draft somebody opposite to Staley that looks good, however the guards make for running the football a bit strange to do with two really terrible ones put in. You got two decent to good receivers both have had their shares last season at some point look at for the fastest player in my mind in Goodwin speed kills when you get him the ball in his hands also Kittle broke out a bit last season getting more touches than expected. There's a lot of injuries on the defense which doesn't look too good, and thus could be a concern because no way Jimmy G can do it all by himself rare Quarterbacks are capable of doing by themselves, but that's too much to carry on your shoulders. An unknown defense that were not sold if they'll be good or not, but the schedule is actually one of easier ones to me, and I can see them fight for a wild card spot. 10-6

Oh my Seattle is in a rude awakening especially on defense could shape to look really bad nobody know the situation with Earl Thomas if he'll be a Seahawk or not, and if they lose him to forcibly trade him to another team Seahawks are definitely in trouble on defense, and will have too much for Danger russ to handle almost all by himself no less. Hey they got a good veteran kicker at least, the strength of the defense I guess would be in the middle Bobby Wagner is still there, and K.J. Wright is gonna start emerging in that defense. Frank Clark is another one whose gonna be that Michael Bennett type guy, but ultimately it ain't gonna be enough to push for the playoffs they'll fight with Wilson in, but to me that's all they have going all of a sudden the legion of boom is gone, and what's left isn't very much to say off of. Unknown Tight End, what's the situation with Baldwin's injury serious or not if so at least they got Brandon Marshall even though his starting to show his age. I'm not sure if the running game will get going at all Seattle has one of the worst offensive lines almost ranked dead last no less means sings are showing the last two years how bad they been building on the O-line. They are not going to be the same team in fact they feel like the 2015 49ers squad which was awful, but you get it times are changing in 12th man field. 7-9

Alright now we flip to the AFC conference, and we start with a team finally making a playoff appearance, and end their long drought of relevancy in Bills Mafia. One thing that will dominate the headlines for most of the year is be cautious of LeSean McCoy because if his found guilty there running game is all be in jeopardy seeing how much Ivory has been regressing the past few years since Jacksonville was where he probably doesn't have it anymore. Seeing he just turned 30 a backup running back maybe a good idea to go for in next years draft in case this situation gets ugly during the regular season. I'm not sure how the QB controversy will play out, but I can't say that it will improve the offense in fact projected as one of the weaker offenses in football. The defense has turned itself around from looking really horrible to now all of sudden a top 10 defense in the league I mean they look really loaded, but the one killer for this team all season is how will the offensive line be when we begin the season? There's a good chance the Bills miss the playoffs if protection is bad enough to the point they can't score its like last years Giants team. If you can't keep upright your not gonna win that many games unless your defense is monumental than that's different. 7-9

Yeah I gotta be honest I don't like Miami at all this year they refuse to go after a new Quarterback get rid of their backup, and now watch the failure before Adam Gase's eyes unfold like seriously its not even funny. You even let go Suh who ye it wasn't a good fit and all, but you him go to the dream team. Same style of defense I believe and if so I can't see it being any better than it was before. You got some good players on the defense, but its not consistent enough for me to believe how mediocre this Dolphins team looks on paper like who is the #1 Wide Receiver of this squad really? They probably can run the football, but its interesting to see what they do with the Tight End they drafted how will that ply, but ultimately Dolphins need to hit the restart button by the time the season ends because Gase, and yes Tannehill should go with him if this is an epic fail season. 3-13

Awe of course the Patriots are always contender with Brady and Belichick two power trips enough to wipe out a weak AFC conference. Without question they beat all there division rivals, but strangely they do not go 6-0 against them odd yes, but still handle business well enough especially against elite teams. Call me crazy, but there record may not be as good as some may expect there are some talented teams who can bat this New England team there not invincible as they once were, and if Tom Brady ends having a bad season than he might retire and perhaps a possibility of Rob Gronkowski even. Point is this team is not as great as it use to be, but seeing how more comfortable the AFC looks compared to the NFC Patriots are a favorite, but there's one team who can knock them off their pedestal this year. 12-4

This will be a very curious season how the Jets will be like Buffalo what is gonna happen with the Quarterback situation between the three headed monster Jets have created? Can Josh McCown be the guy he was last season? If not we may see a lot of Sam Darnold perhaps, or if there is the option Teddy Bridgewater. They got their big signing in Trumaine Johnson would for the Rams for awhile, and now how will that fit in to a defense that has fallen apart especially the middle area is gonna look like the big killer this season a ton of unknown and Darron Lee I mean it doesn't get any worse than that. That has to be one of the weakest 3-4 looking setup schemes I've seen this year that's how much the Jets could not only step back, but defensively could be a disaster and thus Todd Bowles could very well be kicked out of door for sure. There offensive line is not that good holding up, and even worse as now suddenly your defensive line has now suddenly lost a lot of its great talent over the years thus a potential loss of your head coach. 4-12

The Baltimore Ravens have always been an average football club that's always been short of making the playoffs if last year wasn't enough to go off than maybe this might be the last stand for John Harbaugh your in or outta town. This team has talent on both sides of the ball, and for them not to make it the last few years is kinda surprising. To me they are the biggest dark horse only due to in large part in case Joe Flacco has like a very atrocious game than throw inn a monkey wrench for Lamar Jackson to make anything happen sure he looks sloppy in pre-season, but so did DeShaun Watson enough said. If this guy from Louisville can change the mood of this offense the Ravens are playoffs contenders, and have saved their head coach temporarily as Ozzie Newsome smiles at his final draft pick in the 1st round. 8-8

I gotta be honest and say there is a good chance that the worst team in Ohio might be the Browns in 2018, but in fact could be the Bengals. You might have some strengths on the team, but there not always gonna be there all 16 games as we saw against the Packers when Rodgers was healthy. If you like at it with a coach perspective than yes this team is most likely going to under perform because well its Marvin Lewis going back to his old voodoo like way to stay on this sad organization. Offensive line is still not there, and while Mixon could improve overtime all eye on number 18 A.J. Green to create some plays to keep the game alive take him out of the equation, and this could be a atrocious season for Andy Dalton and company. 3-13

This year we will find out if Hue Jackson is the worst head coach in history can he get above 8 wins i'm gonna safely say no, but he now has pieces on this team unlike the last two season it was like working with dead corpses with terrible coaching. Think about this the offensive coordinator is Todd Haley who did wonders with Chiefs, and Steelers, and yeah they retained Greg Williams the former Saints, Rams defensive Coordinator meh. Again they got players to work with, and seeing Dorsey take some gamble like Baker Mayfield, and Denzel Ward will find out if he pulls luck out of a hat or now, but if this fails than it will look like 2014 all over again. 5-11... They'll show some life for next season, but don't expect them to surprise people that much it is the Browns after all you u gotta give it time to develop.

This is it possibly the tail end for the Triple B's in Pittsburgh if you don't go to the super bowl like you probably could of last year its a career for Big Ben, and the end for Le'Veon Bell as a Steeler which would look much different outlook of the AFC North. One thing this team must prove is beat Jacksonville for the love of god Ben you only have 1 career win against that team in your whole career. They have one of the best O-line's in football, but somehow against the likes of Jacksonville they can get ate up real bad thus that is going to be their toughest task to get past in 2018 not the Patriots frankly they should won, but the team for me to beat is the Jaguars you can't do that with this squad... things will really start to plummet down the tubes in 2019. 10-6

Lot of good vibes for the Texans this year and for good reason however the risky factor is imagine if Watson goes down again than what happens? You have a terrible offensive line, but you know he showed improvement he was on his way from looking like a special player, and he could transition that into a team that reforms very well this season. Houston does have a great 3-4 defense, but take out Watt from the front end of the line there in a lot of trouble, but when his in the lineup that flaw is knocked out frankly he is a one man army on this squad up front you forget the other two. Can Will Fuller breakout this season to help get it to another player not named Hopkins, can Lamar Miller get above average running game with Texans. There's some good talent here where I can't be against the chances they could make the playoffs if everybody is healthy they can be a very good team in the AFC. 9-7

I gotta say since Colts made the championship game in 2014 things have gone terrible south Andrew Luck went from great to regression, and than didn't play for a year and a half, and thus the Colts have been pretty bad the last few years due to his notable absence. Luck is back, but I can't say that there will be any ''luck'' found for Indy this year there defense looks atrocious a lot of unknowns all over the place. Is Marlon Mack gonna get you any decent carries, and quite frankly their offense could be much better this year, but his going against three really good defenses this year in his divisional opponents his gotta face twice. There are some games I can see them win, but overall I'd be surprised if they win above 3 games this roster is plain awful built it feels like the 90's Colts team back when they were incredibly bad. 2-14

Ladies and gentlemen my pick to win the entire AFC Jaguars, I truly believe if they can play exactly like they did in 2017, and transition to an even better defensive unit than I gotta go Jacksonville they can go toe to toe with any team and have a chance to win. For years I wanted to see that team finally become that elite defense I fought they would be wouldn't you know it comes at a good time. They were near close to beating New England in the championship, and convincingly beat Pittsburgh twice to me there the team to beat in the AFC based on how tough they can be. As for the offense... While Bortles is not a great Quarterback he can be solid if you give him the write ways to succeed in this different styled offense. You have an efficient O-line now, and an unknown to be honest number 1 Wide Receiver really with a second year young tail back to me equals a potentially historic team that is possible to make their first appearance in a super bowl. 11-5

A team that knows Jacksonville better than anyone is shockingly the Titans have had their number twice and sweep them last year. Although will see if that continues considering the fact they made a head coaching change that I'm not all for. Like with Matt Patrica i'm skeptical of what Mike Vrabel brings to this team, and honestly I see both of them in the middle for this season I'd be shocked if both made it in the postseason. For Mariota I know he'll bounce back after having his worst year as a pro. What improvement is there well Corey Davis needs to adjust his game as bad as his rookie year was turn it around with a 180 would look much better it can't always be Derrick Henry, and Delanie Walker every given game that's too easy to figure out. While Rishard Matthews was good last season, Time for Corey Davis to give Mariota more comfort to go to in a number two receiver. I gotta losing a secondary player early did hurt, but hardly since they signed Kenny Vaccaro might be a big pickup now let's how that secondary goes two former Patriots, Byard, and now a former Saint its slowly coming together. Even though everything I said makes them a dangerous team they'll either make or miss the playoffs based on other teams that could be behind them by week 17. 8-8

Denver is a sleeper team to me... they might finish last or a sneaky third in the division, but heck there a tough last place team i'll tell you that there not to take lightly. While i'm not sure what Vance Joseph brings in year two he may show some life of improvement even though its unclear how it plays out seeing the offense is full of unknown play calling between how will Case Keenum fair in Denver to whoever the Starting Tight End is if they utilize that more often just don't know what to say really there. That Denver's D however is fairly good to have carrying the squad. 7-9

Well... well... well if it isn't the Kansas City Chiefs coming off another in my view disappointing outcome, but they should of did it that time they started off hot beating the than champs Patriots, than towards the halfway point lose to Dallas somehow. Things went south they luckily managed to get the Chargers outta the way to make sure they were going to the playoffs without any worries. This changed and they choked against the Titans thus question Andy Reid than right when Alex Smith was playing his best football of his career. The Chiefs defense definitely doesn't look appealing especially with a downgraded D-line losing guys like Hali, and Poe are tremendous losses. You can't afford to have Eric Berry hurt again the the secondary crumbles from there as it did. Now the problem is your weak at corner Marcus Peters went to the Rams. Ultimately everything rides on the shoulders of Young Patrick Mahomes can he do better than Alex Smith? Kareem Hunt enter his second year now many do as good as their rookie season, his other weapons Watkins, Hill, and Kelce can they perform better than last season? To me there's a lot of pressure on Andy Reid this to get this monkey off his back, and it drive him to insanity to eventually get fired out in 2018. Oh need I say how brutal their first schedule of teams they gotta face. At Chargers, At Pittsburgh, Vs 49ers, At Denver, Vs Jacksonville, At New England. While they did beat them last season its gonna be different with a new Quarterback minding the controls they could go 0-6, and then suddenly make this asinine winning 2nd half run, and just miss the playoffs in essence they remind me of the pretending 2015 Lions team. 8-8

The Chargers went 0-4 things were looking real grim, but they made a valiant effort towards the end I must say sure they have a bad history of starting off slow, but this might be the year that changes I do see them as a well balanced team almost all around, and that could be key in many of there games. A stacked offense, a slowly underrated good defense I say they'll find those crucial wins, and make the postseason, and frankly its time for Phillip Rivers to get a super bowl ring that he deserves he is the most underappreciated Quarterback today. 9-7

Jon Gruden is back, and how fitting they are the last team to take a look at the Raiders. They have some interesting pieces I like the fact Gruden was building in the trench this season that could work well, but it all comes down to if Derek Carr can bounce back from a surprisingly terrible year. It will develop, but they won't be immediate contenders... what I look at is a very poor secondary being one of those reasons, and the fact what are they doing with Khalil Mack your best player of value trading him does you no good. Giving him up might as well tank the rest of the season I can't believe their having trade talks over a valuable switch rotator in that type of defense is rare to have. The main question is how long until Oakland goes to Las Vegas any guesses? If its soon then don't expect much from Gruden this year. 6-10

I.) Philadelphia Eagles
II.) New Orleans Saints
III.) Green Bay Packers
IV.) Los Angeles Rams
V.) San Francisco 49ers
VI.) Minnesota Vikings

NFC Champion: Los Angeles Rams, As I said in my bold prediction remix I believe that this dream team, could very well go the distance in all honesty, but the NFC has a ton of teams you could go by personal views, and I'd totally get that one way or another. Carson Wentz even though he was on the bench to see Nick Foles win may have to wait and Jared Goff could maybe have a taste of a Super bowl perhaps.

AFC

I.) New England Patriots
II.) Jacksonville Jaguars

AFC Champion: Jacksonville Jaguars, To me there is no other team that could be as big, and anticipated to make history than the Jaguars this year their young and hungry for it this time they were nearly close, but they will fight the demons and have a 1st time super bowl appearance.

There it is folks now try to rebuttal against my prediction as you wish in the comment section see ya.

A Rams and Jaguars Super Bowl would be pretty entertaining. Question for those two teams is if they can repeat what they did in 2017, or will they become losers again. These are two pretty unpredictable teams. - PackFan2005

Nice Analysis! I agree with mostly everything. A Rams and Jags Super Bowl would be fun but consistency could be an issue for both teams - visitor
