No, nostalgia is because we tend to remember the good times and every time we revisit the memory, we romanticize it even more because we modify memories to fit our mood. It rather shows how our memories are unreliable emotion wise.

You look back for the good things. Why would you look back for the bad things? But then many people deny that they look only for the good and are not seeing the bigger picture.
