Top Ten Random Facts About the Danganronpa and the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona Game Series

I love both game franchises. And here are some random mixed facts about the two, although they aren't directly connected
The Top Ten
1 Persona 5 is the most high selling game in the series

And the latest one. Plus, It's getting an animation next year! Hypehypehype!

2 All of the Danganronpa game credits songs were sung by Megumi Ogata, the seiyuu of Makoto Naegi (DR1) and Nagito Komaeda (SDR2)
3 Chiaki Nanami was the only female lead that appeared after the main protagonist in the opening. Kirigiri and Maki appeared on later parts of the opening and weren't shown as obvious female leads

In DR1, we thought that Maizono was the female lead prior her death at Chapter.1 (glad she Isn't because I hate her).
In NDRV3, we thought that the protagonist will be Kaede Akamatsu, so both Maki and Saihara (the real protagonist) were "lampshaded"

4 Maki is the only female lead in the Danganronpa trilogy who Isn't the main protagonist's love interest

Kirigiri is Naegi's love interest after Maizono's death and betrayal. And at the end of the Hope's Peak saga, she becomes Naegi's girlfriend.
Chiaki is commonly shipped with Hajime and there are rather blatant signs of them liking each other.
While Maki is just a friend and ally to Saihara and Maki herself is in love with Kaito (I think that Maki x Kaito is the best ship in the NDRV3 game)

5 Persona 5 will get an anime adaption at summer 2018 after the Persona 5: Daybreakers OVA that was already aired at 2017
6 The protagonists in Persona didn't have official names in the games, and they were canonically named in the manga and the animes
7 In Persona 4, Rise is the only member of the main cast who possesses a Persona not based off a figure of native Japanese descent.

Everyone else's personas were based of native japanese descents such as samurais or historical figures

8 Danganronpa was formerly planned to be named as DISTRUST back In 2007-2009, yet due to the overly gory and violent nature of DISTRUST, The developers scrapped DISTRUST and recycled the idea into Danganronpa
9 "Arcana" is properly the plural form, the singular being "Arcanum," but in the Persona series "Arcana" is used for both singular and plural.
10 The Minor Arcana appear in rare events in the Persona 2 duology, only in shuffle in Persona 3 and not at all in Persona 4 with the exception of Persona 4 Golden.
