He once was revolutionary for German rap and still is the most successful German rapper of all time. He brought German hip hop to mainstream attention and he perfectly embodied a migrant who has never been given a proper chance and therefore made it big on the streets with being tough and dealing witz drugs. It was not 100 percent authentic but you still bought it. He knew how to sell it so it is credible. The beats that he himself produced were dark and rough, his language that of a non-native speaker and it sounded impressive and back then that was very daring and new, and sounded menacing.
