Top Ten Rappers and Hip Hop Groups Who Had at Least Three Albums Topping the German Media Control Charts

In the 2010s, hip hop became one of the most dominant album genres in the German charts. While individual songs hardly pop up in he top position, many albums per year make their way to the number one spot. Only a handful of artists of the genre also had chart topping success earlier, and not to such an extent as it is the case nowadays. But it’s nothing unusual anymore for an artist who annually releases music to peak at the highest possible position with each record once they caught mainstream attention. So, let’s take a look at which artists managed to reach the number one spot on the album charts at least three times.

3 Shindy Michael Schindler, better known by his stage name Shindy, is a German rapper and music producer of Greek descent, born on November 7, 1988 in Bietigheim-Bissingen.

He established himself in the German hip hop scene as a featured artist on Kay One's and Bushido's albums and was at some points rumored to be their ghostwriter, though right now being in a feud with the first one.
