Rappers who are really good but insanely overrated. You can also add other rappers you think are really good but insanely overrated.
The Top Ten
1 Eminem Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, is an American rapper, actor and music producer born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Eminem has sold over 300 million records making him the bestselling hip-hop artist of all time. In addition to his solo career, he is a member of D12 and (with Royce da 5'9") half of the hip-hop duo Bad Meets Evil. Rolling Stone ranked him 83rd on its list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, calling him the King of Hip Hop. Including his work with D12 and Bad Meets Evil, Eminem has had ten number-one albums on the Billboard 200 and 5 number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, and 13 worldwide.

He's in my top 3 favorite rappers of all time. But everyone keeps saying that he kills every song he is on and that he is the greatest rapper of all time. That is not true. There are some rappers better, and all his fans don't give other rappers a listen besides Dr Dre, 50 Cent, D12, Royce Da 59, or any rapper who works with Eminem a lot

Good? NO. This guy is a sexist, homophobic, whiny jerk. Saying that the greatest rapper is white is not right. Black people started rap and this guy ruined it. I am white myself, but Logic is probably the only good white rapper.

He is a great rapper who has a lot of talent, however, all of his fans don't praise him as a god and refuse to call him overrated.

He's probably one of my favourites but he definitely is overrated especially in his prime (1999-2002)

2 Kendrick Lamar Kendrick Lamar Duckworth (born June 17, 1987) is an American rapper and songwriter. Raised in Compton, California, Lamar embarked on his musical career as a teenager under the stage name K-Dot, releasing a mixtape that garnered local attention and led to his signing with indie record label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE).

He is the highest rated rapper on Metacritic, and I still think he's awesome. But he's not even the best new school rapper in my opinion.

He's great, but not top 10 of all time in my opinion like how many say he is.

His fans just seem a little bit annoying...

3 2Pac Tupac Amaru Shakur, also known as 2Pac, was an American rapper and actor born on June 16, 1971 in East Harlem, New York. Tupac sold over 75 million records worldwide and has been referred to in multiple major publications such as Rolling Stone as one of the greatest music artists of all time. 2Pac was assassinated on September 1996 at the age of 25. ...read more.

Yes this guy is so awesome and is better than any modern rapper but people are saying he's the BEST RAPPER OF All TIME

He's great but not the greatest or even top 3 in my opinion.

4 Andre 3000 André Lauren Benjamin, known by his stage name André 3000 is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, and is most known as one half of the hip-hop duo OutKast. Despite never actually releasing an official solo studio album, 3000 has built up a strong following online among hip hop listeners and often ranks very high on hip hop lists.

He's definitely good, but he definitely isn't the best or even top 5 of all time like some people say he is.

How com I've never heard of him?

5 Notorious B.I.G. So overrated it isn't even funny.

6 Drake Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor, born on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Canada. He started his career on Canadian reality show "Degrassi: The Next Generation".

I don't like him anymore, so I regret putting him on this list

He sucks and is overrated.Rappers like Eminem,Tupac,Nas,Kendrick Lamar, etc are rappers that are good but overrated not Drake who is only overrated.-DarkBoi-X

Drake is not "really good"

The Contenders

Yes, he's exactly the same, but completely different.

He's really not that great but he's really good.

13 XXXTentacion Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy (January 23, 1998 - June 18, 2018), known professionally as XXXTentacion, and often referred to as X, was an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and criminal.

He's a good rapper but he's way too overhyped

Overrated as hell since his death

He isn't overrated, he's underrated

Implying that Hopsin is really good and not extremely pretentious at all.

If anything he's underrated

19 Eazy-E Eric Lynn Wright better known by his stage name "Eazy-E", was an American rapper who performed solo and in the hip hop group N.W.A. He is affectionately called "The Godfather of Gangsta Rap". He was born to Richard and Kathie Wright in Compton, California. On March 26, 1995 Eazy-E dies from complications of AIDS, one month after his diagnosis, at the age of 30.

He's one of my favorites but he is overrated. He did write his lyrics later in his career (when he first started out, he didn't really, but later in the 90s. He did) but the only reason people say he's the best member of NWA is because he's dead. Ice Cube was the best member. Eazy did create NWA but so did Ice Cube. If he was still alive, people wouldn't be saying the stuff they say about him now

Can agree with this. As influential as he was, half his lyrics in NWA was written by Ice Cube and MC Ren.
