Top 10 Rappers Who Have Gotten Better Over Time

The Top Ten
1 21 Savage Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph (born October 22, 1992), better known by his stage name 21 Savage, is an American rapper. He received attention for projects such as Free Guwop (2015) as well as Savage Mode (2016, with Metro Boomin) before going on to release his debut album, Issa Album (2017). He is best known for his songs "Bank Account" (2017), "No Heart" (2016), and "X" (2016), and for his feature on Post Malone's single "Rockstar", which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

From his songs in mid 2016, he has grown a lot as an artist. He no longer is obsessed with jewellery and has that growly voice but now he is a lot more lyrical and raps about more "real" issues. He's no longer a mumble rapper because he now speaks more clearly.

I am just wondering do you think you would consider Post Malone a rapper because I am starting to think he has gotten better over time.

He was a true savage though

2 Tyler, the Creator Tyler Gregory Okonma (born March 6, 1991), better known by his stage name Tyler, The Creator, is an American rapper, record producer, and music video director. He is well known for his hostile relations with his now deceased father, whom he addresses in multiple songs and albums telling the audience how much he distastes his father. Tyler has composed seven albums, which are Bastard (2009), Goblin (2011), Wolf (2013), Cherry Bomb (2015), Flower Boy (2017), IGOR (2019), and Call Me If You Get Lost (2021).

At first he was this aggressive lil murder boi now he can sing amazing and IGOR is the best album of 2019 no cap.

3 Denzel Curry Denzel Rae Don Curry (born February 16, 1995) is an American rapper and songwriter from Miami Gardens, Florida. He released his debut full-length album, titled Nostalgic 64 on September 3, 2013. His second full-length album, titled Imperial, was released on March 9, 2016. His third album, Ta13oo, came out in 2018, and his next album, ZUU came less than a year later.

From making sleeper hits to dropping both TA13OO and Zuu, some of the best albums of the decade.

4 Offset Kiari Kendrell Cephus, known professionally as Offset, is an American rapper. He is a member of the former hip hop trio Migos, alongside his cousin Quavo and first cousin once removed Takeoff. He is also an investor in esports organization FaZe Clan.

Similar to 21 Savage, Offset has developed a lot and you can hear him rap more clearly, most because he's given up drugs.

5 Polo G
6 Ski Mask the Slump God Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne, born April 18, 1996, is an American rapper and songwriter from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is well known for his goofy and sometimes nonsensical lyrics and songs and his fast flows, as well as for collaborating with the late XXXTentacion.

Instead of making distorted tracks he can now make goofy tracks too. This guy is seriously funny.

7 YBN Cordae

He started of small, noe he's 1 of the better lyricists of the new gen.

8 Rich Brian

Instead of making parody rap songs, he can Make serious songs which actually sound very good.

9 Rico Nasty

Her flows and songs are much better than Nicki and Cardi and she's definitely definitely developed her sound over the years.

10 Lil Baby

Not just The Bigger Picture his music in 2020 has somewhat improved overall although I'm still not a fan.

The Contenders
11 NF Nathan "Nate" John Feuerstein, whose stage name is NF, is an American Christian hip hop rapper, singer and musician from Gladwin, Michigan.

He's gotten significantly worse. Mansion is a masterpiece, Perception is straight up bad.

12 Logic Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, better known as Logic, is one of the most influential artists in the rap game today. He was Born on January 22, 1990, in Gaithersburg, Maryland and first gained major fame through making 2013's edition of the XXL Top-10 Freshmen List and has easily become the most successful in that entire class (Only Schoolboy Q, Joey Badass and Chief Keef come close). Logic even got more popular in 2017, when he released his song, 1-800-273-8255. It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Music Video and the Grammy Award for Song of the Year. It also reached number 1 on the billboard charts. It was on his album, Everybody.

No, he's gotten worse. His 2 new albums Confessions and Supermarket are his worst projects up to date.

13 Drake Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor, born on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Canada. He started his career on Canadian reality show "Degrassi: The Next Generation".

I disagree with this one, I personally think Views and Scorpion are his worst albums (More Life was fire though). His 2011-2015 era is better than his current era.

No sadly I think Drake has gotten worse.

He improving
