Real World Songs that Belong in Splatoon

Splatoon 1 and 2 are great games. They also have great original soundtracks. However, what if Nintendo decided to add real world rock and pop songs to the game(s)? Well, here’s the list of songs that would fit in perfectly. Wether they be heard during a battle or performed by a squid idol.

3 Tumble In the Rough - Stone Temple Pilots

Not the first STP song to come to minds, but the instrumental for this song just screams Splatoon… And this song is almost 20 years the first game’s senior. Give the song a listen during your next match and tell me what ya think!

5 Baby Bhangs - Pins

This punk rock modern is incredible, and would be a great soundtrack for a turf war.

6 Lose Control - Ash

North American Gran Turismo veterans may remember this anthem. This song would fit in perfectly in Splatoon 1 with its bass riff, and the song is high charged with blood pumping energy. Have at it!

The Cult are masters of energetic tunes. She Sells Sanctuary, Fire Woman, Soldier Blue, and many others are just full of great energy. This one in particular would be a good jam for Splatoon.
