It is okay to ship a canon character with your oc (I actually fine with OC x Canon) as long as it's well-written and a characters devepment, and also it is wrong to shipped a fictional character with yourself, I mean come on, how you bang an fictional characters that not even real, get a real-life boyfriend.

Some of them are recolors
You know that there's many different versions of Sonic, them having little to no consistency, right? So someone may think one of the characters are annoying. They likely think the version of the character from the game/show/comic/etc... that they looked at is annoying. Then someone could have played a different game with the same character, except the character has a completely different personality. So that's why Sonic fans can't agree on anything. And also, all fandoms are bad, and you're not going to be a fan of something and actually join a group and think about one particularly meaningless as Sonic, and not have a warped sense of reality which all fans will have to some extent. That goes for all fandoms, mostly.
All of this nonsense has got to end RIGHT NOW.
And it's worse when people think she should be with Tails or even Fox McCloud. So wrong. Fox already has Krystal and Tails has Zooey. They don't need Cream.
You forgot to mention that Amy Rose and Tails are also sexualized
