Top Ten Reasons to Hate Candy Crush

BlueTopazIceVanilla
Candy Crush is an annoying overrated game which just won't go away. Here are ten reasons why I hate Candy Crush.

The Top Ten

1 It is a pay-to-win game

It's sad that games have gone from competitive tests of skill and smarts to using your wallet to win. Candy Crush is a game that encourages this immoral behavior. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

I hate pay-to-win games. Such a waste of money. I could use it to donate to the homeless, but no, spend it on some stupid game instead. - isaaonrtdmtr

Finally, a list that everyone can agree on. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

2 It is overrated

Ugh, yeah. Everyone I know plays it. - TwilightKitsune

It gets way too much attention for what it actually is. In reality, it is just another unoriginal match 3 game that you could just as well find on a bootleg 3DS. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

3 King made it

King, the literal King of unimagintive and uncreative ideas. A game that is based off of sweets? Candyland. A game that involves matching a minimum of three objects together to score? Hmm, let's see...LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. Everywhere to the point where I can't even find the origin. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

4 There is a Candy Crush TV show on CBS

I saw the first episode and it sucks. Basically it's a bunch of B and C-List celebrities playing the exact same game over and over again with the only differences being plastic "obstacles" which "make playing harder." It even got a Guiness World Record for having the biggest electronic screen or somehing like that. Either way, the show sucks equally as much (or maybe even more) than the game and I hope it gets cancelled. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

5 It was in The Emoji Movie

So by this logic, we should hate YouTube - MegaSoulhero

From what I've heard, there is a scene where the emojis are running through Candy Crush and accidentally start playing it which causes the boy's phone to make noises. This just shows how bad King is. Putting their product in a movie that was hated since the first trailer just to make a quick buck. Since they put Candy Crush in a failed movie I hope CC falls out of relevencey. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

So what? It is like saying that because Persona 4 had a crossover with Sword Art Online, Persona 4 is more terrible than NIOH. Because there is one product placement, it does not mean it is horrible - YourWaifuSucks

6 Annoying Facebook invites
7 It is unoriginal

There have been hundreds of games before it which have recieved moderate popularity or no recognition at all. What makes Candy Crush so special?
If you want an original, fun game play Monument Valley. It costs money, but at least you'll be paying once AND for the entire game, unlike CC. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

8 It's everywhere

It has fallen out of popularity so King is placing ads everywhere. I can't browse online for three seconds without seeing a CC ad. Not to mention the T.V. show only exists to get people interested in the app again. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

9 It has been known to reset progress after updates

So now all your hard-earned cash will go down the drain. Not like it hadn't already when you were investing in the game, but still. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

10 It is rigged

I have a theory that they rig it so you have to lose a certain number of times before you have an actual chance of winning. For example, you would have to lose 28 times in a row before the game turns "normal" again and the odds of winning or losing are based on the player's performance.
This way, the player is encouraged to spend more money if the amount of times you have to lose is 210, or something as high as that. - BlueTopazIceVanilla

The Contenders

11 King tried to get away with trademarking the words "candy" and "saga"

But they managed to get away with trademarking the word "candy". - TheYoshiPyro64
