Newcomers are starting to make more lists. What's the reason?

I used to be a supporter of the competition, but now I'm against it. Not to say MatrixGuy isn't awesome at lists, he was bound to pass me even before I did the quality over quantity, but the competition takes all the fun out of lists.

5 Everyone would like to have list's of their own

6 The Users want to see their name in the Stats

Everyone wants to be the next Britgirl, PositronWildhawk, or even MatrixGuy.

This sure is a guilty desire of mine!

7 Everyone would like to be a top user

Even me, the small user nobody cares about.

8 The Top Users are busy

9 The passion to make lists

10 It is more chance to have a popular list
