The Top Ten

1 No talent in modern pop music

I'm not going to call you out on this list, or say that you're wrong. I'll just leave you a recommendation of a good modern artist you will like. Check out Porcupine Tree (or just Steven Wilson in general), if you like Floyd, you'll like them. - cjWriter1997

Yes, this is true, but only in some cases. There are some songs that I do like that have been on the charts. But the overwhelming majority of modern pop is terrible. - CrunchyMemes6789

It will age as badly as the synthesised music of the 1980s. I don't think anymore needs to be said.

The Contenders

11 No innovation or creativity.

Today's music industry is going through what Hollywood went through in the 1950s. No innovation or creativity has happened in music since the late 2000s.

The difference is that in the 1950s it was the Second World War that led to Hollywoods setback, it took until the late 1960s for Hollywood to get back on its knees.

But just like Hollywood's dark age, there is light at the end of the tunnel. It may take a while but the dark age of popular music will come to an end and something great will come next. Every art/entertainment form has it's dark age and the 2010s has been the ...more
