Top 10 Reasons Why Dexter's Laboratory is Better Than the Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius

It's true. It may not be my number one favorite Cartoon Network show, but I do love it for what it is.

People have different opinions.

I know Chris Savino and the new creative crew didn't do as good of a job as Genndy Tartakovsky and the original creative crew, but seasons 3 and 4 weren't THAT bad as a whole. Sure, they may have lackluster episodes, but they still delivered a number of great ones, such as My Dad vs. Your Dad and Dexter the Barbarian for example. THIS is why I don't get how people say Jimmy Neutron is better than Dexter's Lab.

For the most part, I'm gonna have to agree, because while I didn't like the last two seasons of Dexter's Laboratory very much, I'm gonna have to go with Dexter's Laboratory, because even DEXTER was more consistent. Jimmy Neutron just aged worse than milk. - RegularShowFTWSuperjailFTL

People say that Johnny Test is a rip-off of Dexter's Laboratory, despite some similarities, when really, that show is just a clone of the Fairly OddParents! Jimmy Neutron is the REAL poor man's Dexter's Laboratory.

Actually, Jimmy Neutron was in the works before Dexter's Lab came out.

Even if I didn’t like the last two seasons of Dexter’s Laboratory that much, I agree that Jimmy Neutron is worse. Jimmy Neutron never aged well for a Nickelodeon show in the 2000s, so I may as well prefer to watch Dexter’s Laboratory more. - RegularShowFTWSuperjailFTL

Unlike Jimmy Neutron, Dexter's Lab has a lot of funny jokes

That's the thing. Johnny is just a horrible person, and Jimmy can be pretty insufferable (even if the show itself is decent), but Dexter's justified, considering the hell Dee Dee puts him through and messing up his lab.

He may be a boy stereotype, but at least he's not Jimmy Neutron, Johnny Test, OR Ben Tennyson.

The worst was carl fantasizing about jimmys mother and when carl was rude to jimmy. Cindy was much more like able even though she is mean itleast shes not hitting on friends parents

As an individual that grew watching both shows; I can safely say that I have never found Dee Dee funny, but more irritating.

She actually does not annoy the audience.

No, I find her somewhat irritating.

They never shut up!

Even if season 3's and 4's art doesn't look as good as seasons 1 and 2, the character designs, and even backgrounds, look way better than Jimmy Neutron's. Why is Jimmy Neutron's animation bad? The characters look WAAY too plasticy.
