Top Ten Reasons Why Disneyland/Disney World Isn’t So Magical
I just did this list because I’m bored and I don’t like Disneyland or Disney World so much. Both places are definitely not bad, but I don’t like them that much (sorry guys).Everything on this list can apply to every theme park. Not just Disney.
Yeah, that's annoying indeed.
Should be number one.
It wastes time, too
My mom, sister, and I constantly argued over the rides at Disneyland. I wanted thrill rides, my mom wanted baby rides.
Me: I want to ride the Haunted Mansion
Mom: NO! Too scary for me!
Sister: No
Me: I want to ride Space Mountain and Star Tours
Mom: No. I want to ride It's A Small World
Me: I don't want to ride that! It's so boring!
Mom: We'll we're riding it and that's final!
Me: But mom!
Sister: Just do it!
Me: Fine... >:(
Marvel, FOX, Star Wars, you make it. What's next, MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment?
I went on Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain at Disney World when I was 14. My sister and I went on Radiator Springs and the Matterhorn at Disneyland in 2015. NONE of them were scary. They all were fun!
Some of the rides will scare children and even adults and leave them crying, which is not about happiness.
Examples: Pirates of the Caribbean. the Haunted Mansion. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Splash Mountain. the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Snow White’s Scary Adventures. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin. Gadget’s Go Coaster. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Stitch’s Great Escape. Space Mountain. Expedition Everest. Dinosaur. It’s Tough to Be a Bug. Avatar Flight of Passage. Star Tours. Rock N. Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror. Test a Track. Radiator Springs Racers. Incredicoaster. and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Well, parents should know which rides are best for children.
That's true. But, I'm actually okay with it. I can listen to songs!
I live in Philadelphia, so if we drive to Disney World, it takes about 20 hrs, but if we drive to Disneyland, it'll take about 40 hours! (rest breaks not included)
I prefer flying in a plane than wasting over 1 day riding in the car.
It Is also crucial to history! The very mountain that stood since the beginning!
Stuff is always overpriced. Disneyland charges $5 for Starbucks.
It rained when we were in Disney World, but I got burned pretty bad at Disneyland
They claim it's close to your home, but only if you live in CA or FL!
And everything is WAY overpriced. I paid too much at Disneyland for a SMALL plush Perry the Platypus ($14), Starbucks ($5), and admission ($100).
I could pay for the EXACT same plush for less at the Disney Store at the mall back home, and the Starbucks cost less everywhere else.
At Disneyland I wanted to go on all the mountain rides and coasters and thrill rides and the Haunted Mansion, but what did my mom do? Forced me and my sister on the stupid rides like Casey Jr, Disneyland Railroad, and It's a Small World.
I only got to go on one mountain ride (the Matterhorn).
At Disneyland, my mom made me and my sister mad by not letting us go on the rides that we wanted (Thunder Mountain, Grizzly River Run, Space Mountain, Star Tours, Splash Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion) and forcing us to go on the baby rides instead.
I also saw a dad spanking his daughter and making her cry.
When I went to Disneyland, there were a few malfunctions.
Tower of Terror wasn't working at all when I went. My cousins, sister, and I really wanted to ride it. So disappointing! :(
Also we were in line waiting to ride Radiator Springs when it decided to break down after we waited for 2 hours. They tried fixing it for a few minutes but it didn't happen. We (along with the other people that were also in line) got frustrated, gave up, and left the line. Luckily, it was fixed a while later and we eventually got to ride it.
