6 It relies more on gimmick than music

7 A genre that only writes about one subject is usually bad

No it doesn't and this argument is similar, if not the same, to that of bands like Linkin Park and albums like 17. If you are not well educated, know about one deeply that has it or you yourself, you are likely to not get it. Kinda like how we view human to human until knowing someone furthermore.

10 It is very pretentious
