Top Ten Reasons Why Having Curly Hair is Tough
Because I have had curly hair all my life (from the time I was born to my current age and every day in between), I decided to create this list. Curly-haired people have it just as tough as straight-haired people due to the consequences listed below. Many of the items listed below can be found on websites like Buzzfeed, The Loop, Elite Daily, and The Odyssey Online. Please keep in mind that some of the items listed below apply to straight-haired people as well. Also, not all of the items listed below apply to every curly-haired person.Sometimes high humidity poofs curly hair, sometimes making it look like a lion's mane.
It ruins all my hard work with the flat iron.
Because it's soft. But I respect your list
That's why I just use heat protectant spray and use a blow dryer. Sometimes I also rub my hair dry in a circular motion with a regular bath towel as well to further speed things up.
I honestly do look better with straight hair than my natural waves. I look like a freak if I don't straighten my hair and I really wish I had my old straight hair back. My hair used to be straight until puberty hit me like a truck when I was 9 1/2 years old.
I just use straight hair products because my hair is only wavy and not actually curly, and it would be a waste of money to use curl products when you're just going to undo all the work with a nice little flat iron anyways.
Lol relatable
I literally cannot stand this. When I go to school people just assume I don't brush my hair. It's annoying. No matter how many times I brush it out, people still say stuff like "Do you know what a hairbrush is? " or "Your hair is really frizzy. Do you brush it." Pisses me off.
I have wavy curls and I cut it so it could be straighter. Now it just fluffs up like an afro. I always have to pull it back so it looks like I have no back hair. It’s so tangly. It hurts to brush. I once almost CRIED when getting my hair brushed. Washing it is worse though.
I have curly hair that I used to cut rly short until maybe like two or three years ago. It has barely grown in all those years and it’s gonna take FOREVER for it to reach the length I want it at! Ugh
