Top 10 Reasons Why Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi is Better Than Johnny Test and Teen Titans Go!

Here are reasons why Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is better than Teen Titans Go! and Johnny Test
The Top Ten
1 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi has better animation

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. But is the show really that bad? OF COURSE NOT! I can see why a lot of people like it, and for the most part, it actually IS funny. The animation may have been dated by today's standards, but the art style, despite some minor flaws, is actually not that bad. The voice acting is nice, the writing is actually solid and fine for what it is, and the humor is actually very creative. It actually does a nice job wanting to pay homage to classic cartoons from the golden age of animation, even with anime-influenced characters.

For the most part, I agree. This show is WAY better than Teen Titans Go! and Johnny Test, but to be honest with you, I only like the first season of Johnny Test. The 2000s as a whole weren't a HORRIBLE decade for T.V. animation (just the late 2000s), but they're not as memorable as the 1990s. Yet, they can still deliver shows that DO age well to this day. Even shows like this do not deserve a cliffhanger. ...more

Yes, the animation looks cheap, but it feels like a work of modern art compared to Johnny Test and Teen Titans Go!

This list is so pretty pointless. I don't hate those shows, but they're pretty pointless.

Sorry but both shows sucks

2 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi has likeable characters
3 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi knows when to shut up

You're not making any sense! You don't get it, do you? You think Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is better than Johnny Test and Teen Titans Go!? It's just as painful to watch as both of those shows. Grojband is a million times better. Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is scarring! Grojband isn't! You love Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and Ed, Edd n Eddy? Yet you hate Grojband and Regular Show? Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi has got to be one of the WORST Cartoon Network shows of all time, next to Ed, Edd n Eddy, Codename: Kids Next Door, Total Drama, Sidekick, Scaredy Squirrel, Almost Naked Animals, Camp Lazlo!, Chowder, the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, the Problem Solverz, Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, Johnny Test, 6teen, Stoked, Powerpuff Girls 2016, Squirrel Boy, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, and Teen Titans Go!

It may be cartoony and over the top, but they know when to give us moments of silence, and do other things than just random cartoony stuff. Unlike JT and TTG, HHPAY knows how to be quiet

It doesn't make any sense. I like Johnny Test better and so does TTG

Doesn't made any sense.

4 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi doesn't use the whip sound effect constantly, unlike Johnny Test

I'm glad that CN doesn't air Johnny Test anymore, but I still hate the whip sound effect being used constantly. Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi never does that.

5 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi feels more like pre-movie SpongeBob SquarePants

Just like with Camp Lazlo! and Chowder, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi feels more like PRE-movie SpongeBob than POST-movie SpongeBob.

6 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi has better songs

Johnny Test and Teen Titans Go! have lousy songs. Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi delivers great songs.

7 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi has no "Uncle Jokes"

I'd take random humor from Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi than Uncle Jokes from TTG.

8 Pop culture references are used occasionally in Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi

JT and TTG just have random pop culture references all over every episode just to appeal to kids.

9 Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi has no toilet humor

I was so happy that there was no toilet humor in a show like Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi.

10 Johnny Test and Teen Titans Go! only act like loud and obnoxious kids shows

I watched all of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (excluding 2003 Pilot, and the banned episode Surfs Up) and I have felt reborn. I even went too far to put it at number 1 for my most favorite cartoon's...whoever hates Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi should leave this list and never come back, otherwise, I will kill the guys who hates this show... - Gehenna

Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi acts more like a cartoony, yet calm, kids cartoon. Also paying tribute to humorous classic theatrical cartoon shorts. That's what made HHPAY good.
