Human is a self righteous being. Humans will do anything to be recognised as a hero. And here are the reasons why.I genuinely didn't mean to generalise people. So, I apologise. Not every human in existence does this. But I believe deep down self righteousness lies dormant in all human hearts.

Deep down every human has a superiority complex against others.
This is very true.
Humans also make mistakes. But humans will "righteously" judge others who made a mistake even if it isn't towards them. It is one thing to point out the mistake and evil action of someone and saying: "this is wrong, you shouldn't do this, he/she shouldn't have done it. It is one thing to hate the person for doing so. But humans have self proclaimed titles of Judge, Jury and executioner. They think they have to right to determine who deserves what and who doesn't.
Even for the most trivial of things humans will hold a grudge on one another. It is one thing to commit a crime. And be unable to forgive an action of someone that caused you trauma. And then then there is acting no different than them because they did it to YOU.
I mean why acknowledge your own flaws when you can judge the flaws of others and feel like you are a good person whilst having the delusion that you are making people better this way?
Speaking of which. Humans think the ends justify the means because its all for the greater good because they just, righteous and superior
The human brain is wired to avoid everything that makes us unhappy and cause pain and pursue everything that makes us happy. That's what hedonism supports.
And humans are always like: "Since judging someone who did wrong makes me feel better about myself and happier. Other people must feel the same way, right? "
