Top 10 Reasons Why Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Is Awful

Most of this list is true. And I do agree that PiT and SPM are perfect games and are underrated. But I also think that Bowsers inside story deserves all that love. I had a lot of fun playing it. But that doesn't mean you have to like it. It means you have to understand the fact that just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it is overrated, it means other people like it and you don't.

Overrated my @$$, this game gets all the love it deserves! Hell I'd go as far to say it's better than Super Mario 64. (Also by the way Super Mario 64 is a great game overall though)

Why does this game get more acclaim than Superstar Saga and Partners in Time?! I will always love these worthy predecessors. M&L: BiS is a sequel that needed to be changed.

The only thing I really like about the game is the story line, music and characters. besides that, it isn't really that special. the whole Bowser's body gimmick didn't really allow the bros to lv. up that much, as most of the game was about Bowser, of all characters. used to be my favorite in the series, but then I opened my eyes.

She leaves her hair down, gets pissed, is being useless, seriously lacking grace, having that annoying "HELP ME! Mario! " voice, having let herself die in one scene and appeared in this game instead of Princess Daisy and Rosalina. what?!

Stop saying Daisy or Rosalina needs to replace Peach! I like Princess Peach, so as JB

How Many Times Are You Guys Gonna Complain About Peach?

The baby bros have no special moves except enhanced jump + hammer abilities. They don't speak much unlike Bowser who by the way has hilarious dialogue. Bowser on the other hand has special moves, punch, flame, and the final KO punch which is the most satisfying final attack by far. I own both games and BIS has a better plot and mood while PiT just wasn't as serious which is okay.

WHAT!?! How does that mean that bowsers inside story is bad? PiT was a great game, and so was BiS. And if you think about it, how can you even compare them? If they weren't in the same series, you probably wouldn't even compare them. The story is different, some of the machanics are different and And the stuff that is similar, is literally the same, like the special attacks. There bothe very good games in there own way.

Just think! You play as 4 players in M&L: PIT and only 3 in M&L: BIS. Also, Partners in Time is way better in music and visuals, thanks to the Baby Mario Bros. Bowser's Inside story was annoying, hard and overrated.

Princess Peach, King Bowser and Dark Bowser were the only characters with such bad voice acting. And the hulks are as cheesy as hell. This is why M&L: SS and M&L: PIT is much better than this.

Just because a game is on the DS doesn't mean it's bad, the DS is one of the best Nintendo consoles.

Superstar Saga has 8/10 good music. I love its 32-bit music.

Partners in Time has 10+/10 good music. It's so creative and inspiring!

Bowser's Inside Story has 3/10 good music. It's baffling and sounds like an unfinished music test.

Dream Team has 3/10 good music. It is the worst Mario RPG by far.

Rosalina deserves to be in this game, not Princess Peach. I mean it. This game could be much better. But by far, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is the greatest Mario & Luigi RPG of all time. Yeah, I said it.

This joke is so funny that my ghost is actually typing right now. Honestly, I played partners in time as a kid and boy, it was hard. still is now. Later, I played bowser inside story the same way I played partners in time and guess what? I actually enjoyed it and finished it! Now I have finished every mario and luigi games and now that I am better at mario and luigi games I returned to partners in time and it was still hard! I forgot to say that I was always playing the european version of the game which is made easier. It was hard and still is, I can imagine the nightmare that is playing the american version. I just can't understand people that says that partners in time is easier than bowser inside story

No It's Not. It's Actually Kinda Easy.

Problem number one: it's a time limit boss. I have never found one actually good time limit boss due to their reliance on stalling you out for an instant game over.

Problem number two: you can only use Bowser's fire breath against it. No variance in attacks here. I guess Bowser hasn't learned to punch downward.

Problem number three: said fire breath attack requires the DS's awful microphone. May whatever deity you believe in have mercy on your soul if you have asthma.

Problem number four: you have surprisingly little room for error. Sure, there's some added chances for hits toward the end, but you need to constantly get Excellents when the train isn't in the mechanized mountain. Anything less and you'd might as well restart to save you the time.

Problem number five: when it is in said mountain, if that mountain isn't on fire, the train heals itself. That means that you can't punch the mountain without risking losing.

The remake made it much easier, tapping the screen at the right time activates Bowser's fireball.

The only part of the game that was frustrating because of the bad fire controls.

A long game is better because at least it takes you a long time to clear so you can't complain about everything! I personally liked the pacing not to mention I beat it in 9 days to beat the game and get all the sp moves and items. Try to beat that.

This game is 1 eighths of 100 hours long. And it is a horrible game.

I actually never hated the graphics of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (at least since 2015). I just find them to be very run-of-the-mill compared to its predecessors' graphics. One major reason why is because it does not remind me of the Mall of America or areas with deserts. While the graphics of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story are very standard, I feel like Nintendo at least put effort into the backgrounds.
