Reasons Why My Little Pony is Better Than Winx Club

The Top Ten

1 My Little Pony isn't too girly

Totally agree! - Sugarcubecorner

It also has ungirly moments like those with Wonderbolts and Applejack's family. Winx almost has only girly moments. - AinezoChan

2 Winx Club focuses too much on Bloom

My Little Pony doesn't always have to focus on Twilight Sparkle despite being the main character. She does make absences like everypony else. It focuses on the other main characters as well as minor ones. That's why they all are well-developed. Bloom is always the center of spotlight. - AinezoChan

Bloom is a total marysue. - StevenUniverseIsAwesome

3 Twilight is not a Mary Sue

She has flaws like everyone else. Like, she was bad at sports in the first and third movie. All Bloom says is "I can do it! ". As proved in how she gained her Enchantix. She didn't sacrifice her life for anyone or anything at all. - AinezoChan

4 MLP has better voice acting

The MLP voice cast is based on Discovery Family (formally known as Hub), which is fairly decent. As for Winx, the 4Kids voice cast is cringe and the nickelodeon is abysmal. - AinezoChan

Yeah! Especially Rebecca Shoichet - Sugarcubecorner

5 My Little Pony characters are cute and colorful, while the Winx Club characters are dull and ugly

No wonder there are so many rainbows in MLP. ^^ - AinezoChan

6 The Mane 6 don't need to have boyfriends like the Winx girls

The Mane 6 don't go to the strereotype of girls having a boyfriend, which is a dumb stereotype. - AinezoChan

7 In MLP there are no unnecessary transformations that are thrown into the gutter later on

True. Even the half pony transformations in Equestria Girls aren't pointless. Meanwhile, the Winx transformations not only are useless, they also have retarded names. - AinezoChan

8 My Little Pony has continuity unlike Winx Club

In MLP, Twilight is now an alicorn, the Cutie Mark Crusaders now have cutie marks and the villains are reformed. Whereas in Winx, Roxy only starred in season 4, later she was forgotten, and the Pets never appeared again after season 4. How dumb! - AinezoChan

9 Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo are better tomboys than Musa, Tecna and Aisha

At least the former three still retain some tomboyish attitudes even if they wear more feminine clothes. The latter three, on the other hand, are fake tomboys, on the account they became girly overtime. - AinezoChan

10 My Little Pony appeals to a wider age and gender group

No wonder why some MLP fans are boys, toddlers and even grown men! While Winx Club merely appeals to girls. - AinezoChan

The Contenders

11 My Little Pony has a larger range of characters, all with different personalities

Winx characters are pastel and dull, with only one trait built off of them:

Bloom- Leader
Tecna- Robotic
Aisha- Adventurous
Flora- Nuturing
Musa- Tomboy
Stella- Arrognat

Where as the first character trait that pops in mind for OUR main cast:
Twilight- Geek (she isn't always like this)
Fluttershy- Shy (she can be assertive! )
Applejack- Stubborn (not always... see Viva Las Pegasus... she gives in after some time...)
Rainbow Dash- Ego-driven (see "Wonderbolt Academy")
Rarity- Dramatic (in serious cases, she keeps her cool)
Pinkie Pie- Hyper (She can have some really serious moments.)

This is all very strange, for the shows each have 7 seasons, and I'd say about the same amount of canon built upon it, yet Winx never breaks out of any molds.
