1 To share their opinions

At least I can remix and comment on lists, which gives me the ability to share my thoughts on particular things.

This is basically why most of us made an account on this site, to share our opinions

Lists are a good and efficient way of showing what you think

We are all human beings with different opinions!

2 To organise what they are thinking

Brains are messy. Lists are not as messy.

3 Because they can't be bothered to make a top 11 list

4 Because they are bored and want something to do

And making a list fills their time

This is very entertaining!

5 They can incorporate facts and opinion to create a good but concise argument

State opinion, back it up with evidence

The best reason, for me.

6 They are better than mind maps

Mind maps which are made quickly are messy and take up a lot of space.

Yeah mind maps can take forever.

7 Lists are more memorable than long paragraphs

8 They encourage debate

Controversial lists will have people who disagree, others will have everyone in agreement

9 They are quicker than other methods to compose

10 If someone is looking for a specific point, they can skim read

Rather than having to read long paragraphs about stuff they don't want to know, with can be a waste of valuable time.

So? There are great autistic users on this site. Stop portraying autism as something negative. I bet whoever added this doesn’t know anything about autism
