I don't care if he wrote for a kids' show. Joe Murray Forever! Rebecca Sugar sucks! I'm sure there are plenty of women that can make a good Cartoon Network show, but Rebecca Sugar is an exception, because she worked on the easily overrated Adventure Time.

Rocko's Modern Life is just an immature and mean-spirited kids cartoon! Adult jokes don't make Rocko's Modern Life more adult! Joe Murray is a total hypocrite. I would've loved Rocko's Modern Life if it was on MTV, but no, it had to be on Nickelodeon of all channels! Joe Murray DOES write for kids. LITTLE KIDS! Tooth and Nail and Leap Frogs are fine examples that prove why Rocko's Modern Life is the WORST out of all the Nicktoons in the early 1990s!

Who wants to watch a cartoon where all the breakfast items do is cry?!

Anime fans in a nutshell

Joe Murray has quality. Rebecca Sugar doesn't. Not because she's a women, no, women CAN have good quality in animation. Just look at Amy Winfrey and Lauren Faust. They're fine examples of women that can give out good quality in animation. Rebecca Sugar has no quality, simply because she worked on Adventure Time. I will give credit for that Steven Universe is the first Cartoon Network fully animated series to be made only by a woman, but it still not gonna get me into Steven Universe. No, I'm not sexist, though.

Story arcs, at times, can be good, like in Samurai Jack or Home Movies. But similar to Adventure Time and Regular Show, STEVEN UNIVERSE ALSO SUCKS AT STORY ARCS.

Steven Universe doesn't.

The show is one of those concepts that looks good on paper, but fails in execution. It could be good, it just needs a stronger focus on action and comedy and less on the cliché soap opera mechanics.
