Top 10 Reasons Why Steven Universe is Overrated
Even though Steven Universe is a very good show, I believe it has become very overrated.Gumball is amazing for those who like its random humour. It doesn't try to be too deep or dramatic. Just a nice simple cartoon you can enjoy casually.
In my opinion, The Amazing World of Gumball deserves more attention than Steven Universe.

Gay ships, lesbians, and whatnot everywhere. Its tolerable done casually and not over dramaticized but Done to its extent, this show seems like a weapon to force its ideology upon you.
Personally, if you are going to introduce a lgbt character, I like it if its more like "oh yeah, by the way I'm gay lol." and not like *suspenseful build up... * "I'm gay and I'm proud! I'm done hiding in the shadows."
LGBT should not be the face value of a person, or the most interesting thing about them, or even the only thing there are there for. just another one of their traits.
Unfortunately, "yaoi" and "yuri" (gay and lesbian ships) are really annoying. THis kinda stuff ruined voltron for me. Ok, mabey not that much because of how it was portrayed as quickly done with and I guess that's excusable. But, what steven universe does is unacceptable. I'm just glad that I thought ruby was a boy when I was 7.
The shipping in the show is starting to feel really forced in recent episodes.
I wish they were forgettable because most of them are subpar. Maybe it's just because I like my songs with more amplitude.
I honestly don't think "Stronger than You" is anything special.

Even though I like the occasional dramatic episode, it feels like they happen all the time now! I miss the lighthearted episodes.
YES! why can I just have a casual time with the show. I like Gumball better because it doesn't take itself to seriously and is a good laugh.
YES. too much "deep" nonsense. also, the diamonds are the some of the worst villains I've ever seen. there philosophy, "I'm sad, feel bad for me for some reason."

Mediocre plot + Mediocre song by Overrated character = Overrated episode.
They even did a remix of this dumb song sang by sans from undertale
I'm starting to not care for Peridot or the Cluster anymore.
