Top Ten Reasons Why You Should Read Martin Canine's Remix of "Top Ten Most Legendary And/or Acclaimed German Language Songs"

This project was a lot of hard work for me, and I would be more than happy if you would check it out. It means a lot to me, as I have been busy working on it for the last couple of days quite literally from dawn till dusk.

This is the list: https://www.thetoptens.com/legendary-or-acclaimed-german-language-songs/Martin_Canine/?25

The Top Ten
1 It will expand your knowledge of music

Most of the songs on my remix are only known and famous in German speaking countries. But that does not mean they can not be enjoyed by everybody everywhere in the world.

2 I worked on it continuously for several days

When I created the mere list, I already started working on a detailed text that would give an impression of what the songs are about and why they are so essential. I compiled, researched and wrote straight from when I woke up until late at night the sun was just about to rise again.

3 It is the most diverse and unbiased list you will find anywhere

Critical lists of prefer certain genres, artists or eras. Popular often only focus on recent music. My remix tries to cover everything that matters.

4 It is not unlikely the biggest project ever done on TheTopTens

Of course I don't know everything on TTT, but so far I have never seen anything on here that this amount of research and neutrality.

5 You will get an authentic impression of German language music

The list is not to reflect my personal and subjective opinion of the best German language tracks. It's supposed to be an authentic and unbiased, objective look on the picks of German music.

6 I have done a lot of research to choose the most essential tracks, and browsed through several lists with different main focuses

Here you can see that my remix consists of several influences and points of views. Since I furthermore live in Austria and am friends with Germans, I can also judge if the lists are accurate.

7 It's not a mere remix, it's a piece of literature

I did not only throw together a bunch of items. I wrote a long and informative introduction, and then wrote short texts explaining its content and meaning in German language music history. Sure, some are longer than others, but the reasons the songs are essential and great are always different.

8 It covers a variety of genres

German language music is Neue Deutsche Welle, schlager, pop, punk, hip hop industrial, pop rock, RnB, and even more. Some genres are nation-specific, others are internationally known but their evolution and meaning is strongly tied with culture. There is much to explore.

9 The songs were chosen based on popular opinion, commercial success and to an extent critical success

Quite often all those three aspects collide, but every once in a while there are exceptions. Songs that were initial commercial failures get retrospective airplay and/or praise, or critics dismiss successful songs that still turn to cult classics and are loved by everybody from music lover to mainstream listener.

10 The Rolling Stone magazine has so far not released a better and more varied list

Their lists are okay and of course they have made quite the big surveys to compile them, but I can't say their lists are not biased and full of preferences of genres and decades.
