Top Ten Most Recommended Anime

This is a list of the anime I recommend you watch. As if the name was not straightforward. This list is just my opinion, and would like for anyone to let me know if there is one that you think should be on this list, or if you agree with me.
The Top Ten
1 Steins;Gate Steins;Gate is a 2011 anime television series created by the animation studio White Fox based on 5pb. and Nitroplus's 2009 video game of the same name, and is part of the Science Adventure franchise.

The best anime ever... That realistic concept, ever growing suspense, the godly Hououin Kyouma and the legendary Makise Kurisu...This anime does not start
down it's shut from the first episode but when it starts... When it starts... The S; G fans know when this masterpiece really starts... Death Note becomes pale, FMAB seems like garbage for a second... Code geass starts sucking... Yes, Steins Gate is that great... Watch it... It is better than any anime, any T.V. series, any Hollywood movie, any avenger or marvel or any, any, anything...The world must watch this masterpiece... And listen to its legendary soundtracks like the GATE OF STEINER and RE AWAKE...

Honestly the best anime I have seen in my entire life. It isn't really long (only 24 episodes. 25 if you count the extra one added to "wrap things up"). The first half of the show focuses on building the characters, and the second half is the part that makes it so good. Honestly, I don't see how you could be human if you don't shed a tear watching the whole show. Deserves #1 without a doubt.

Its amazing and brilliant on every sense of the word.

Looks decent!

2 Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lelouch of the Rebellion: Premiering in 2006, this anime series is directed by Gorō Taniguchi and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi. The plot centers on Lelouch, a prince who gains the power to control others and seeks to overthrow a totalitarian regime. The show has been highly praised for its complex characters and ethical dilemmas.

Honestly, what can I say about Code Geass that hasn't already been said? It is an anime that can appeal to anybody in some way or another. Looking for some feels, got it. Looking for some laughs, got it. Looking for thriller, mecha, paranormal, psychological, action, anything, got it. It follows the story of a young Britannian student named Lelouch Lamperouge, who gets caught up in some terrorism/ rebellion stuff, and gains the power of Geass, the complete power to make anybody obey you, from the mysterious woman C.C. and uses said power to lead the rebellion under the guise of Zero, a masked genius. If you haven't seen it, then stop reading this list, go watch it, mull over that amazing ending for a few minutes, then come look at number 2. LELOUCH VI BRITANNIA COMMANDS YOU!

3 Psycho Pass

Psycho-Pass takes place in a dystopian future where any persons psyche can be read instantaneously, and those whose Psycho-Pass number gets too high (higher the number, more crazy the person) are labeled as latent criminals and put beneath society, or simply executed on the spot in some cases. We focus our attention onAkane Tsunemori, a young lady with a crystal clear psyche. Akane joins the MWPSB, which is basically police in this society. She, along with her partner and four latent criminals labeled as "hunting dogs" go around stopping latent criminals, and naturally stop a psychotic criminal mastermind because it wouldn't be fun otherwise.

4 No Game No Life No Game No Life is a surreal comedy that follows Sora and Shiro, shut-in NEET siblings and the online gamer duo behind the legendary username "Blank." They view the real world as just another lousy game; however, a strange e-mail challenging them to a chess match changes everything—the brother and sister are plunged into an otherworldly realm where they meet Tet, the God of Games. ...read more.

A recently released anime, and already one of my all time favorites. This story revolves around two NEETs, Sora and Shiro, a brother and sister pair of elite, unstoppable gamers, that get thrust into a world where games decide everything from who cooks dinner, to who is king of a country, to who is God. Pair that with its hilarious comedy scenes and massive amounts of fan service, and I see no reason why this anime doesn't deserve a watch.

5 Outlaw Star Premiering in 1998, Outlaw Star is a space western anime series based on a manga by Takehiko Itō. It chronicles the adventures of a group of outlaws in a spaceship as they search for a legendary treasure. The series is known for its blend of science fiction and fantasy elements.

As the story goes on, Gene makes it his goal to unravel the mystery behind Melfina by taking on the Space Police, the Space Pirates, other outlaws, master assassins, and perverted wizards. Outlaw Star, you better get ready!

6 Soul Eater Soul Eater is an anime series directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones, Aniplex, Dentsu, Media Factory, and TV Tokyo, which adapts the Soul Eater manga written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo.

What's cooler than badass warriors fighting with badass weapons? Badass warriors fighting with people who turn into badass weapons. Soul Eater follows several badass pairs of Weapon/Meister teams that attend a badass school ran by the Grim Reaper, where they learn how to fight so they can destroy evil spirits. Did I mention it was badass? Watch for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

What's more awesome than soul killing meisters, lethal weapons, insane doctors, a cat witch, and a badass symmetry loving hottie? Nothing, absolutely nothing.

7 Fairy Tail Fairy Tail is a manga franchise created by Hiro Mashima. The manga has been adapted into an anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight, which began broadcasting in Japan on October 12, 2009. 9 Cowboy Bebop Cowboy Bebop is a 1998 anime television series animated by Sunrise featuring a production team led by director Shinichirō Watanabe, screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto, mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane, and composer Yoko Kanno.

I would be remiss to not talk about this show, as it stands as the number one slot on just about every favorite anime list out there, except I guess this one. But still, I can not deny the show is fantastic, and easily one of the greatest ever made. I recommend it simply because if you haven't watched it, you are really missing out on one of the greatest anime ever made. it's one of those shows that if you haven't seen, you can't really call yourself an anime fan regardless as to whether or not you actually liked it.

Truly is anime perfection and puts new anime shows to shame.

10 Sword Art Online Sword Art Online is a series of Japanese light novels written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by abec. In 2012, it received an anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures and the SAO Project, and is directed by Tomohiko Ito . The first season is divided into two arcs known as "Aincrad" and "Fairy Dance". It has also received a second season, titled Sword Art Online II.

Even though I heard this show got a lot of hate, I still watched it. And you know what? I loved this show. Before I may have used to like Attack on Titan more, but once I actually watched this anime, I was like, "Okay, Attack on Titan is great, but now I treasure Sword Art Online".

It's quite popular, so of course it's going to be recommended a lot. Earning it a spot on this list.

Complete garbage. Whoever putted this here has poor taste. Why is this above naruto, log horizon, and iverlord?

The Contenders
11 Ergo Proxy Ergo Proxy is a science fiction suspense anime television series, produced by Manglobe, directed by Shukō Murase and written by Dai Satō.

A post-apocalyptic experience extraordinaire, Ergo Proxy is going to make you think, a lot. Re-L Mayer and Vincent Law, the two mains, work to figure out the conspiracy behind the perfect city or Romdo, as well as try to solve the mystery behind the incredibly powerful Proxies. It is a show that will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next.

12 Angel Beats! Angel Beats! is a 13-episode Japanese anime television series produced by P.A.Works and Aniplex and directed by Seiji Kishi.

An anime that will make you laugh until you cry, and then just cry. I choose to not talk about the main in this one because he is not what makes the show good. The cast of supporting characters, however, is exemplary. These characters will get inside your heart with relative ease with their unique personalities, and in some cases, terribly depressing stories. In terms of feels, its not as good as Clannad, but I feel as if Angel Beats has so much more to offer the viewer than just feels. It's a roller coaster of emotions.

13 Puella Magi Madoka Magica Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Shaft and Aniplex, directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, written by Gen Urobuchi, music by Yuki Kajiura, opening sang by ClariS, ending by Kalafina (sometimes by the seiyuus) and original characters by Ume Aoki.

Sad, but a great Anime. The movie makes it even sadder.
I recommend a box of tissue's if you decide to watch it.

This anime is one of my favorites.

It's a shame to see Sword Art Online in this list and not Log Horizon.
