The Top Ten

1 Cirrus Minor

In a churchyard by a river
Lazing in the haze of midday
Laughing in the grasses and the graze
Yellow bird, you are not long
In singing and in flying on
In laughing and in leaving
Willow weeping in the water
Waving to the river daughters
Swaying in the ripples and the reeds
On a trip to Cirrus Minor
Saw a crater in the sun
A thousand miles of moonlight later - LightningStrike

That organ instrumental and the birds are so beautiful. This is one of my favorites. - Lsdjesus

Very relaxing. - RadioHead03

Yes! Totally number 1! - Pointingfingers

2 Breathe

Breathe, breathe in the air
Don't be afraid to care
Leave but don't leave me
Look around, choose your own ground
For long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all your touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be - LightningStrike

Relaxing lyrics. - RadioHead03

3 High Hopes

Beyond the horizon of the place we lived when we were young
In a world of magnets and miracles
Our thoughts strayed constantly and without boundary
The ringing of the division bell had begun
Along the Long Road and on down the Causeway
Do they still meet there by the Cut - LightningStrike

Yeah I knew this would be on the list! I can sleep to this song. It's beautiful. - Userguy44

Yes. By the way you never heard of any Pink Floyd songs from '67 to '72? Just asking. - LightningStrike

4 Comfortably Numb

Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, now
I hear you're feeling down
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again
I'll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts? - LightningStrike

5 Us and Them

Really nice jazzy song

Us (us, us, us, us) and them (them, them, them, them)
And after all we're only ordinary men
And you (you, you, you)
God only knows
It's not what we would choose (choose, choose) to do (to do, to do)
Forward he cried from the rear
And the front rank died
And the general sat
And the lines on the map
Moved from side to side - LightningStrike

6 The Great Gig in the Sky

And I am not frightened of dying
Any time will do, I don't mind
Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime - LightningStrike

Another Pink Floyd song I can fall asleep to. I love it. - Userguy44

Easily deserves the #1 spot

7 Let There Be More Light

Far, far, far away, way
People heard him say, say
Something will be done
Then at last the mighty ship
Descending on a point of flame
Made contact with the human race
And melted hearts - LightningStrike

One of the most relaxing Pink Floyd songs. - RadioHead03

This is my jam - Lsdjesus

8 Shine on You Crazy Diamond

Ah yes, the Pink Floyd song you can't mention online without somebody making a JoJo reference.
It's my favorite Floyd song and, in my opinion of course, one of the best songs ever made. To me, it feels similar to a classical composition, just with prog rock instruments instead of an orchestra. The drawn out synths and guitar in part 1 are really relaxing, and the rest of the song takes the listener on a soothing ride with it's memorable guitar solos and relaxed beat. - Atham

Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
Blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
Come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon. - LightningStrike

Especially the synthesizer parts, however the lyrics do a good job as well. - Userguy44

9 Wish You Were Here

Yes. Forgot about this - LightningStrike

10 Astronomy Domine

Lime and limpid green, a second scene
Now fights between the blue you once knew
Floating down, the sound resounds
Around the icy waters underground
Jupiter and Saturn, Oberon, Miranda and Titania
Neptune, Titan, stars can frighten - LightningStrike

The Contenders

11 Obscured by Clouds

It's just an instrumental song with great production. Very relaxing too. - LightningStrike

12 Green is the Colour
13 Echoes
14 Learning to Fly

One of the best Pink Floyd songs in my opinion - TheDarkOne_221b

15 Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast
16 Grantchester Meadows
17 Cymbaline
18 A Pillow of Winds
19 San Tropez
20 Marooned
21 Crying Song
22 Fat Old Sun
23 If
24 Mudmen
25 On Noodle Street
26 It's What We Do

The bass is very relaxing to me. It might not be one of their most relaxing songs, but it still gives that relaxing feeling. - Userguy44
