Top Ten Christian Books of All Time

The Top Ten
The Bible

The bible is a great and useful learning tool that you can never stop gaining something from no matter how many times you read it. God has given it to us. Not mankind. So of course it's the best Christian book of all time. Not only Christian book, best book in the WORLD. The Bible is the most read book on the planet. It truly deserves this position.

The bible is the only book I read over and over again that teaches me something different every single time

Bible can teach us something God reveals something to us we just don't see it

Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis
My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers

Have read it cover to cover, probably twice, then gifted it to my son. Today I bought a new copy. A wonderful devotional that is full of insight.

My family is reading this every night for our nightly devotionals. Very good.

The Imitation of Christ by Thomas á Kempis
Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan

This should be number 2. I heard it was the second most printed book in the world besides the Bible

The Complete Works of E. M. Bounds On Prayer
The Confessions (of St. Augustine)
Celebration of Discipline by Richard J. Foster
The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer
The Book of Mormon

The Newcomers

? Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson
? The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - C.S. Lewis

Classic Christian book for all ages,

The Contenders
The Secret of the Rosary by Saint Louis de Montfort
The Kingdom of the Cults by Walter Martin
This Present Darkness by Frank E. Peretti
The Shack by William P. Young

I have given away over 200 copies of The Shack. God has used it to change lives. Of course the Bible belongs #1. But this is my favorite book outside of the Bible.

A Heart Like Jesus by Max Lucado

Teaches you how to be like Jesus. It's our mission to spread the word of God. To love each other as Jesus loves us!

The God Chasers by Tommy Tenney
The Attributes of God by A.W.Tozer
I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist by Norman Geisler & Frank Turek
Confessions of a Sinner by St. Augustine
Dialogue with Trypho by Justin Martyr
Actes and Monuments (Foxe's Book of Martyrs) by John Foxe
Crossing the Threshold of Hope by Pope John Paul II
The Dark Night of the Soul by Saint John of the Cross

One of the best books ever! Truly is along the line of Pilgrim Progress as to how deep in your walk with Christ do you desire to go?

Just Love by Margaret Farley
The Oath by Frank E. Peretti

Frank Peretti was my favorite author growing up and by far this book astounded me in many different ways.
