Greatest Right Handed Pitchers in MLB History
In 1940 saw something that has never done before. Opening Day is always the way to welcome back baseball. On April 8, the Chicago White Sox faced the Cleveland Indians whose starting pitcher that day is Bob Feller. After this game, baseball witnessed the first no-hitter in Opening day History, a 1-0 win by the Cleveland Indians pitched by Bob Feller. When 1940 ended, Feller won 27 games, 261 strikeouts and a 2.61 ERA, pitching's triple crown and with it Feller was named the Sporting News Player of the Year Award.

Now here's a man whose career spanned much of baseball's formative stages. His induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964 was well deserved. Hall of Fame historian Lee Allen said "Keefe was one of the first pitchers celebrated for his head work. Teaming with Smiling Mickey Welch, he assumed the Giants of a well-pitched game almost every day".

Rollie, one of baseball's greatest closers of the 1970s. Fingers' Teammate Sal Bando once said "He gives you that anchor. I don't know of one guy, with the exception of Nolan Ryan, who is as tough to hit in the seventh or eighth inning as it the start of a game. You need that guy like Rollie to win pennants".
He was one of many of the 1970s Oakland Athletics championship players who we're traded, and as a San Diego Padres he had the 2 best years as a relief pitcher, when he had 35 saves one year and 37 the other.

Before the glory, the Dodgers did had some great players, he was one of them, here's his 1955 Hall of Fame Plaque: First pitcher in N.L. to lead in strikeouts for 7 straight years, 1922 to 1928. Led league with 28 victories in 1924; 22 in 1925. Won 15 straight in 1924. Pitched no-hit game against Phillies, 1925. Most Valuable Player N.L. 1924.
