Fanbase is filled with metal elitists who claim they're "real metal". If "real" metal has vocals and lyrics like CC, "real" metal must suck. Their instrumentals are great, but the vocals ruin it for me. They are a not even close to as good as metal elitists say they are. - NikBrusk

Musical theater overkill! Which can be a novelty at first, but ultimately irritating to say the least. Is it Rock or a number from a stage production of The Phantom of the Opera?! Every time the singer takes a breath, it sounds as though a surprise nut squeeze from a stranger occurred (and he has the bad habit of constantly taking loud breaths on mic). Nothing wrong with being a queen but even Ethel Merman would be incited to suggest that Matt Bellamy tone it down once in a while.

I don't even know why they are called the greatest hard rock band of all time, that role belongs to AC/DC with Zeppelin not too far behind. Axl may have a large range but he's hardely a great singer. Slash is the most overrated guitarist of all time too, the tone of his guitar in Sweet Child O Mine shouldn't even be a thing, and yet that riff is called one of the greatest? - BrianScott01
