1 ELO The Electric Light Orchestra are an English rock band from Birmingham. They were formed in 1970 by songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne with drummer Bev Bevan.

The music of ELO makes me so happy when I listen to it, it's almost a music high. More people should know this band!

4 Rush Rush was a Canadian progressive rock band that was formed in 1968. The band has had an iconic lineup since 1975, which included Neil Peart (Drums, Percussion), Geddy Lee (Vocals, Bass, Keyboards), and the guitarist, Alex Lifeson. Peart passed away after a 3 year battle with brain cancer in January of 2020. Because of this, Lee says there are no plans to keep the band going, so Rush is most likely defunct. The band has become one of the most well-known progressive rock bands in the world, with such albums as "2112", "Hemispheres" and "Moving Pictures". More than half of their albums have gone gold or platinum, as certified by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America).

I'm a teen and I'm the only one in my whole school that listen to actual music like heavy metal and rock n roll pop and rap sucks so does new country ( sorry I love lynyrd skynyrd and hank Jr that's pretty much all I live in bama) anyways rush is a band that I have all albums and enjoy them

Actually not true, but then again the general public doesn't really know Rush.

I'm 15 and I am Rush's biggest fan since 2007! PS I know ELO, The Who, and literally all of the bands on this list

I grew up listening to the Kinks. It is very sad that so many amazing classic rock bands are gradually being forgotten before our very eyes.

I'm a teen and I love Yes. Most of my peers seem to have heard of them, but are not familiar. They all know the To be continued meme though.

I think I'm the only teenager who listens to prog. Dream Theater are an incredible group that deserve more attention. All the teens I know are listening to hip hop/rap. How can you possibly listen to rap over Dream Theater?

I've heard of this band, hell I've listened to them I'm quite sure a lot of teens have heard of them band The Kinks on the other hand I'm not too certain.

I like this band. In fact, I actually recognized a majority on this list
